It's Thursday, what are you eating today?

UD--23. It was a good day yesterday although I do find that I am exhausted by DD evening. I also noticed yesterday that food tastes really, really good by DD evening. I savored my dinner last night!

Today's plan includes

Breakfast--1cup Fage 2% with SF creamer, sprinkled with 1/4 cup protein plus cereal and 2 tbl walnuts. coffee with SF creamer

Lunch--chicken and broccoli slaw salad with 2tbls LF mayo and a bit of grated cheddar cheese, fruit salad.

snack--apple with PB2

dinner--turkey sausage with red peppers, cup jello temptations.

-Irish B'fast tea... I'm trying to drink less coffee and more tea, especially since the results of that little JUDDD survey.

I have some of my yummy homemade pizza put back from Tues. night and will have that with some ruffled potato chips today.

Also have some of the delicious homemade Chinese stir-fry leftover from last night, and that will be on my plate at some point.

Finally, there is still some premium ice cream in chocolate and vanilla leftover from my youngest DSs bday party on Sunday, and I want a little of each flavor before it starts getting freezer burn.

There will be wine by evening.

I'm pretty sure my hormones have kicked in, starting yesterday, because I was a ravenous beast, especially in the evening! Rawwrr.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Dinner - Cheese tortellini in tomato basil bisque, parm cheese, brocolli, and maybe even garlic bread.


I am very obviously not low carb... lol

B: 32 oz of iced coffee w/4 T cream & 4 splendas, sipped slowly over the morning.

L: 2 oz sliced salami. OR 1 oz salami, and 1 oz cheese.

D: ?? 3 oz sliced steak, unless something else appeals.

Using my WW tracker for now, since it is SO EASY. 14 pts.

Yesterday was my first UD:
B: Protein Shake and Cottage Cheese Pancakes
L: 2, 100 cal dark chocolate bars, melted, w/ 5 strawberries. 2 baby bell light cheeses w/ 1/2 small apple
D: Hamburger (bunless, but I had put breadcrumbs in out of habit) w/ 2 tbsp organic ketchup. a few bites of chicken enchildada casserole.
S: 1 oz cheddar w/ 1/2 small apple

I also had a few tastes of cupcakes/icing that I made for my husband's work (that ended up as cake balls...bad baking day), but I spit them out. I still tracked it.

38 pts

I'm up 1 lb this morning and have been having a hard time all week, but I think since TOM is coming, that's just how it is (especially when you've lost 10 lbs in the last 2.5 weeks).

I'm nervous, but just trying my best not to worry about it and let the weight loss happen. I'm optimistic.

The sf Mix, two raw eggs, one stronge coffee, ice and blended in bullet blender.

Just finished some leftover homemade veggie pizza and pepperoni pizza, (small pieces) and ruffled potato chips.

Still hungry so I just had a cup of the leftover Chinese food. Still felt hungry, but I'm going to let that food settle and see how I feel in a bit. Plain and simple this is hormones looking to be fed. Normally I eat what I feel are sensible amounts of food and am full for hours without a care about it. This time of the month -- look out all you yummy creatures! And plant life too.

This appetite started yesterday and wrecked my DD. lol. If it's like normal, the hormonal hungries will continue at least a few days. I'll do my best, but no guarantees. Lock up your tasty vittles, my friends, the monster is on the loose!

Sophie, I usually end up feeding that pre-TOM hormonal hunger monster when he comes around too.

Around 265 calories if I stick with this. Trying to undo yesterday's feast which thankfully only ended up being a 1 lb gain.

My dd yesterday went great. Coffee in the morning, hard boiled egg at noon, shrimp, cabbage and LC cheese at 5 and a pudding cup, more coffee at 7 - total 450 cals and not hard at all. I think waiting to eat till noon helped and then having the egg kept me going....

UD today..so far
-coffee with creamer - 70 cals (2 cups w/ T creamer each)
-GF instant oatmeal 180 cals
-Gluten free cinn.sugar donut -170 cals

Thinking I better have some protein for lunch! not the best breakfast choices but now I am craving the protein, maybe a salad or I have leftover homeade green chili - maybe that with a corn tortilla and beans? not hungry yet and still have to figure out dinner...

Breakfast.....chocolate protein shake with yogurt & strawberries, 210 cal

Lunch - club sandwich & pickles, 280 cal

Snack - small bowl of homemade corn flakes & granola with raisins & almonds, estimating 350 cal.

That still leaves me over 1000 for dinner which I know I won't hit....but I'm undecided on what to have. I'm thinking of browning some organic ground beef, adding garlic & onion, a can of chopped tomatoes with some sprouted brown rice. Mmmmm.

First DD today

breakfast: 1 cup stone ground oatmeal made with water, a bit of whey (like 1/4 cup)

mid morning snack: one hard boiled egg

late lunch/early dinner: egg white sauteed in a scant teaspoon of Smart Balance spread and 1/4 cup of vegetable broth. Threw in 1 cup of shredded cabbage, 2 ounces cooked chicken breast, 1/2 ounce gorgonzola cheese, 1 tbls. yogurt parmasan cheese dressing (the mixture was drying out in the pan.)

according to ****** - that's 423 calories so far today.
My calculator said : 502 on a DD day

my plan for tonight's chairman of the board's birthday celebration (that I wish I could pass, but can't) is to bring tea and 1/3 cup of nuts to snack on.

lots of water
wish me luck!

BTW - used to belong to this site many years ago when I was Atkins. Lots of life has happened and I've got the extra 40 lbs to prove it!

Well that lunch held me quite nicely for over 4 hours. Had some wine right after eating.

4:30 p.m.
-red grapefruit.

I don't have to cook much for dinner since nobody but me will be around this evening.

Despite whatever else I may eat, I'm thinking about a choice between two sweet items for later: dark chocolate dipped in natural peanut butter OR a scoop each of premium vanilla and chocolate ice cream.

I ended up having my Fage 0% (a whole cup!) for breakfast.

L: 1/2 Elephant Bar club sandwich (2 triangles), small bag doritos, salad.

It's only 2:15 and I'm still hungry!

Not my healthiest DD but I haven't been at home and my choices very limited.

So after 1/2 a slice of toast and a coffee, I have had another coffee and 2 soya coffees and some garlic flatbread and a mini biscotti.

Around 350 calories I think.

Sick- my sympathies Beeb, I just had something similar the early part of January
and now I have it again.

Have had 2 cups chicken bouillon with dried parsley, and a cup of beef bouillon.
15 cals so far. Did you know you can have over 6 gallons of bouillon and still be
under 500 calories??
