Questions please.

Curious about vitamins that some may take.
I've been taking several for this last 6 months..
Flax seed oil, coral calcium, glucosamine - chondroitin for joints.
Due to low or Neil energy I have started taking iron 65 mg once a day.
Actually mainly wondering about the iron.
My ion lab work is usually right on the low end of normal.
I struggle with energy have for a few years. Have really noticed it since starting JUddd.
Any one on iron replacements?
I take Zertec caz of my skin problems. I have terrible stinging in my arms, have for many years. Just seems to be getting worse. Dermitologists x2 doesn't no what it could be. Been three times, two different doctor besides my gp.

I see lots reading your thread but no answers/advice because I think your questions are more about supplements than JUDDD.

I suggest you post these questions in this forum and I'm sure you will get more info. As far as whether JUDDD is causing you to be more tired, can't answer that one at all. I feel amazing on JUDDD, more energy than I have ever had. I take D3, Fish oil, and a Probiotic and that is it for me.

Sorry, EI, I don't really know anything about iron and don't take any extra unless there is a small amt. in my multi. I take some other supps, but I have no problem with energy.

Like Beeb said, you might want to post this in an alternate spot on LCF to see if you can get more replies. Hope you get some answers asap!

I take B vitamins, that helps w/ my low energy. I usually can remember to take those everyday.

I'm not sure what kind of skin problems you mean but I've had acne for way too long, I also have that chicken skin thing on my arms (don't remember the official name for it?). The acne drastically improved when I went Low Carb (not sure if it was the wheat or sugar) but now on Juddd, my skin looks almost flawless, even the scars are diminishing. I still have the chicken skin though, hopefully it improves with time.

In case it helps I take other supplements (but I often forget)
Vitamin E (for skin)
Vitamin C
Fish oil
Probiotic
Ginseng - this is supposed to help energy, but I haven't really noticed a difference.

Cutting coffee also helped me sleep regularly therefore gave me more "normal" energy.

Hope this helps!

My iron is always low and sometimes way below normal. I stopped taking supplements when I started low carbing bc I was eating SO much meat. Now that I've been JUDDDing for 6 mos, I think I will start taking them again bc I'm tired again.

I believe that I am tired the 2 weeks before TOM visits me bc I started keeping a diary. So I strongly suspect it has something to do w/iron

Good luck figuring things out.

I take a multivitamin without iron (I have always had so much iron I rust when it rains), 10,000 iu of D3, the best probiotic I can afford, and digestive enzymes.

Personally, I find D3 both physically energizing and emotionally calming. My doctor put me on it last spring and, because I seem to burn through it quickly, agreed I should stay at the high dose.

I've never cooked, nor had, chicken livers. DD (7) loves liverwurst sandwiches though. We went to a locally famous ice cream parlor when she was 4 and she ordered a liverwurst/swiss on rye. Nobody around us could believe it. Of course this child also asks to go out for Indian, or sushi.

I wouldn't mind trying chicken livers if anyone has a good recipe. Or even beef.
