I've decided to give JUDDD a try
 
Good morning!

I have been on the LC wagon for several years and although when I pay close attention to what I eat I do lose, I really like the idea behind the JUDDD plan so I have decided to give it a try......I figure what do I have to lose except the weight!:D

I have been reading the JUDDD boards for a week or so and I believe that I am prepared to give this a go!

My calorie numbers according to the JUDDD calculater are 2094 UD and 524 DD. I'm not quite sure that I can get as low as the 524 (at 25%) but I'm going to give it a whirl!

Since my calories yesterday were 1925 I am going to start today with a DD!

I'll post my calories for the day later on today!!

Welcome! Don't be too daunted by the DD number. After the first few it really does get easier. :)

I just decided to give JUDDD a try too
 
I cannot decide if today is going to be my first DD or not. Had a half cup fage 0 for breakfast. Can go either way. I'm sure I will be seeking encouragement from the great people here.

Keep things like flavored teas and broth on hand in case the munchies strike and you'll be fine:) even if you go over a bit the first few DD's, they DO get easier!

So far today seems right on track, I believe I will finish the day at about 600 calories.

Welcome welcome! I came from years of low-carb and am just loving this woe. Don't freak of you add carbs and see a slight gain at first. Just hang in there and you will be greatly rewarded!

My very first DD actually came in at 544 calories....I'm very pleased and I wasn't even all that hungry....I did east small things throughout the day. A snytrax protein shake wtih almond milk in the morning, then two small HB eggs during the day, Wasa crisp with Laughing cow during the afternoon and dinner was a little piece of chicken and cauliflower bisque ( a big thank you to the poster of that reciepe on the DD reciepe's thread!!!)

Down days can be challenging but u may find out that's is kinda nice not to have to worry about food all day

I find my updays more challenging. Too many options
