Me too! But I'm still here! For me, being allowed to eat carbs was bad. It kickstarted a terrible way of eating. I hadn't eaten that bad in over 15 years. Too much junk on UDs turned into too much junk every day. But I'm regaining control. And I'M STILL HERE!

I'm still JUDDDing along.

I'll never manage my weight in any other way.

I can go overboard on carbs sometimes, and I can ease back on carbs sometimes too, but as long as I respect the calorie numbers it all works out pretty well.

My big thing with JUDDD was coming to terms with the fact that UDs weren't free-for-all days, and also the fact that I could eat anything I wanted, but that didn't mean that I should, every day. LOL

Started 1/13, and have kept my DDs very strictly. UDs I struggle with, especially during social occasions.

I have lost 6 pounds in 6 weeks. Not great...oh, well, at least it's down and not up...

Yes, this. I had a few bad weeks there but I'm back on track. Gained 4 lbs. would have been much worse if I was still on Atkins!

I am not like the lucky ones who lose lots of weight really fast. It is getting mentally tough for me to think that I have to endure these DD for a long time to come but I will not give up.

WOE: Low Carb Maintenance
I decided to go back to regular LC since that is what I really was doing anyway, just starving myself every other day. Wishing all the JUDDDers a successful journey and/or maintenance. I will pop in to read here and there to see how everyone is progressing.

I can't really blame you, although I certainly hope you will pop in here occasionally to say HI.

If the low carb is already working for you... why would you want to fast in addition, unless it was for health reasons. And a lot of people don't like to fast for health. LOL For quite a few of us, low carb didn't work, or stopped working, so for most of us, JUDDD was a Godsend. At last, weight loss and more variety in our food choices as well.

But most can only take just so much deprivation. If you are giving up most carbs, that's already quite a bit more than many wish to stick with forever. To have to deprive every other day of being able to eat as much as you want just adds insult to injury, so to speak.

If you are losing well on low carb anyway, I'm sure it will continue to do a great job for you, and you will be buying all new smaller sizes for spring. It looks like you are almost to goal already! Woo Hoo!

I wish you nothing but success. Hope you'll pop back in occasionally to let us know how you're doing. Warmest regards.

So yeah, I'm JUDDDing along, and I'm pretty confident it'll let me drop the last 40 pounds.

I remember when almost nobody was here, or stayed.

Now this place is hoppin' and pounds are just rolling off of folks. It's such a happy and exciting and encouraging place, and even with all of the folks here who contribute to the fun discussions, I know there are even more JUDDD followers out there, reading but merely lurking. Every once-in-awhile I'll see a poster on another forum with JUDDD listed in their stats, but they're somebody I've never noticed over here.

People here are excited about their plan and they're excited about their foods and menus, so it's a fun place to read and participate, and I think that helps people maintain their interest, and that seems to help them be successful too.

It certainly a fun and hoppin' forum now. I love it here!

I'm still here! This is my YEAR. Enough with the serial dieting, this is getting done. I love it! While I don't love the down days as much as I love my up days, I love that I *feel* like I'm doing something to advance my goals on those days. In some ways I do almost find the up days to be more difficult for me. The fact that I can eat has really helped my binge issues (no binges in 2 months!) because I don't feel deprived, but at the same time being allowed to eat whatever I want has led to some not so healthy food choices at times. But honestly I'd rather eat that (carefully measured out and weighed and counted) plate of nachos and stop obsessing over it than feel deprived because I can't have the nachos, so I am trying to not feel guilt over these things.

But anyways yeah, big picture. In December I will weigh less. That is all there is to it. This is my year. It's happening! (Of course it helps that I've lost 25 pounds on JUDDD so far while eating nachos, that doesn't hurt the motivation).
