I never thought I could pass up treats either--always wondered what folks who said that were smoking --but I really can now, and it doesn't seem to take "willpower." I just don't want a lot of stuff. One major thing is I've become so acclimated to darker chocolate that I seriously dislike the taste of milk chocolate now. I tried some of my daughter Halloween treats and would throw them out after a bite . . . seriously. That doesn't mean I can't get in trouble with dark chocolate, though.

I think it's using your "bank," of calories wisely.

Sure you can have that twinkie but you'll probably still be hungry 30 min later..when you could have had a bowl of sliced apples for LESS calories and felt full.
