This is a Chinese stir fry! Yummy!!

1 can la choy stir fry mix with some brags liquid aminos and "I can't believe it's not butter spray"
On top of cauliflower rice with more liquid Aminos and some soy sauce topped with some green onions. Added some water to the canned veggies and some gluc powder to make a sauce.

Sorry if the pic is upside down??? I just got my iPad, I must need to turn it the other way.
No calorie count this time, will next time. I think it was right around 100 for the huge bowl! What a treat to have Chinese on a DD. The canned veggies are 15cal per 1/2 cup.

I wonder if La Choy would be good on cooked angel hair coleslaw?

Are the miracle noodles available in stores? Or the other asian noodles I've seen people talk about..? I've been eating La Choy over rice since my 20's, because it was so low calorie. As my salary increased and my palate became more discerning (and my body, bigger!), I stopped buying it and haven't bought it in over 10 years, lol. I can certainly eat it on DD though, and enjoy it!

LG--if you have an asian grocery in your town you can get the yam only miracle noodles (altho they will be called something asian, lol). Regular stores often carry the noodles with tofu as well, but I don't like or eat those, and they have more calories.

Yes, I found out our asian grocer has it. I think she said she only has tofu left.

I actually have started to find some in my regular grocery stores, only 1 in my town has them. They are the NoOodles brand.

But if you haven't tried Cauli Rice you should give that a go!

Cauliflower rice. Grate cauliflower. Spray non-stick pan, sauté till almost soft. Season as needed.
I season differently each time. Sometimes I just eat it plain with I can't believe it's not butter spray and soy sauce (or liquid aminos) and some garlic.

A perfect rice sub for me. WAY lower in calories and carbs! My bf even likes it, and he eats whatever he wants.

Hey thanks for that! I have heard of "cauliflower rice" for years but never quite knew how to achieve it. I think I tried once years ago but I tried boiling it for a few minutes and that just plain didn't work. Now I'll be right!

Oops it didn't turn out that well. It tasted exactly like it did when I was in college and flat broke, lol. I'm afraid my tastes buds have matured beyond La choy. No offense, hun.

Haha Thank you, Cindy!

I'm just a food porn aficionado. I prefer that all of the food that I cook (that survives being burnt to a crisp) looks somewhat restaurant quality. (:

As for the taste, I'm working on it. But Worcestershire/Montreal Steak Seasoning is a killer combo. You can make the blandest food jazzed with that duo, for sure!

Ps. I splashed more Worcestershire around the plate so it soaked into the rice cake. I preferred it that way, because it wasn't as crumbly, and I could cut it and stab it nicely with a fork. It was a little more "bready".

Alison, your food looks delicious! I love taking pictures of my food..... Not much to take right now since I am doing the potato hack/diet. Nobody wants to see a sad lumpy photo of a gray potato! But I think I will be making that burger as soon as I am done! I hope you are doing well on your journey! I love love love your tattoos! I have one whole tattoo, haha! But plans are in for number 2 and maybe number 3 at the same time!

<--------my profile picture is my next tattoo!

Lilybell, that looks beautiful and I can't believe it's only 150 calories! I make stuffed jalapeños.... I just need to reduce the calories in them. I stuff everything but the kitchen sink into them! Great for low carb, but not even close for a down day.

Aurora Laura, thank you! (: It seriously tasted as good as it looks in the photo, even better, actually. I'm trying to come up with clever new recipes so I can photograph them and post them here!

And about tattoos, well I'm definitely a collector! Here's a photo of my newest piece:
