Cheesecake Factory has tons of low calorie options. I just had Mexican lettuce wrapped chicken tacos for 250 calories, and they were good! The picture's a little hard to see, but there are 3 decent sized "tacos" with chicken, corn, avocado, cabbage, and salsa.

Thanks Dawn! I hate wondering around clueless...oh wait! That's everyday!
Trish: fish tasting like "dirt" (my words) or lake water, your words...is EXACTLY why I only eat salmon, halibut, cod and fresh tilapia. I am very suspect of anything that anyone has "caught" and tries to feed me. I just can't stand that taste! I've heard it tastes like that when the fish is caught in "warmer water" or "still water" meaning a small pond...but I don't know if that's true...I only know I can't handle the taste. |

I totally forgot about this until I got on Pinterest today. This is a WW recipe, but it would be a perfect DD treat. Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread and it is only 40 calories a slice!

I went to Denny's the other day for breakfast and had a "Fit Fare" breakfast skillet. It was a bunch of veggies (including my favorite red potatoes) with scrambled egg whites on top. It was 330 calories, tasty and filling.
If you are in the market for quick & cheap, Del Taco has crunchy tacos for 130 calories and $0.49. I try not to eat that kind of thing often, but sometimes it comes in handy. I take them home and put a little lite sour cream on them and count 150 cals each. |

Regarding "fishy" fish...
I always squeeze fresh lime on tilapia and if it still tastes like it swam in water I pour salsa on top. I find that salsa can cure just about anything. ![]() |

It is really 160 calories, so this is probably best saved for UD! Okay, I found another pumpkin recipe that really is 80 calories and truly is easy, peasy to make! Pumpkin Protein Cheesecake Mousse Makes 2 servings... Ingredients 1 cup low-fat or fat-free cottage cheese 1/2 cup pumpkin puree 1/4 cup milk of choice 1 tbs sugar-free instant butterscotch (or vanilla) dry pudding mix 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice 1/2 tsp cinnamon 3-6 packets stevia, or to taste (or sweetener of choice to taste) Directions Place everything in a blender, and blend until smooth. Serve immediately or cover and place in the refrigerator until chilled — at least one hour.

. Thanks for correcting me! So, this is 120 calories for one serving??? Again, too high for DD unless you are not eating much for main meal. ![]() Wonder if this could be made with something less calorie dense than CC? ![]() |

![]() Roasted Cabbage w/ Worcestershire 1 tsp olive oil (5g) 2 tbsp real bacon bits (14g) 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/4 tsp ground black pepper (more or less to taste) 1 Medium Head of Cabbage Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Mix the olive oil, bacon bits, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to make the marinade. Prepare the cabbage. Rinse it under water and remove any yucky loose leaves. Cut the head in half on the core.. Then cut the halves in half again… …to make quarters. Lay each wedge on a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to wrap it up in. Spoon about 2 tbsp of the marinade on top making sure to get it in all the nooks and crannies. Wrap each wedge and bake for 20-30 minutes. The wedge will still have a crunch, if you like it softer bake for 40 minutes. ![]() Recipe says 80 cals per wedge. I believe that to be highly estimated. |
