L: 1 plain hot dog (no bun) w/mustard, 5-6 potato chips (300 cals)
D: salmon patty (170) with 1 T mayo (90) and lots of dill.

FD is "free day" or some think of it as "full day" or even "feast day". Our Pat (So Happy) came up with the name, and it means you don't count or restrict calories, just eat as much as you want all day. This is generally done with careful consideration and some weight-checking once a person gets to maintenance.

The only reason I'm counting my calories (though loosely) right now on FDs is because I'm still losing weight that I hadn't intended to lose, and I want to make sure I'm eating up to a certain amount on my FDs.

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Ended up eating breakfast and then a late lunch or early dinner at a Mexican food place on the way home from buying building materials to finish the goat barn. I had 1500 calories to spend so I should be alright. I have finished chores and I am stilll stuffed so I will not eat anything else today.

That adds another 150 calories.

And I just remembered I have a Fresco taco left from last night's run through Taco Bell. When I eat that before bed, will add another 150 calories.

Then I will have 1/2 c. whole milk plain yogurt and blackberries for about 1,840 calories to end this FD.

But tomorrow is another FD.

Supper was a chicken breast and stir fry veggies. I also had a snack this afternoon of a hardboiled egg, and 3 macadamia nuts.

Total cals looking to be 561.

Having a lemon/honey/acv/1/2 dose Sleep Assure "tea", which adds enough calories to get me up to 1900 tonight.

We got Chinese take-out tonight, and watched a bunch of shows we'd tivo'd. Top night, but definitely turned this into possibly my first official Up, Up and Away Day!!! I am sooooooooooooo looking forward to a DD tomorrow!

Not too bad!! my first under 500!

and a decent amount of protein!
