Suggestions, please, JUDDD buds!

I'm still in my induction period, and I'm LOVING this woe. I'm so ready for the weight to go, I don't want to hold it up at all. But I'm also on vacation (these things happen), and I am supposed to go to 2 meals out with family/friends today, on my DD.

When I'm not on induction anymore, I will feel free to wiggle around with MDs and switching days and whatnot, but right now I just want today to be a DD.

Have you done something similar? Anyone have ninja tactics re: things to order at a restaurant on a DD? I can always fall back on Caesar salad, no dressing, if I need to. ;)

Vegetable soup and a side salad would work. Or a grilled chicken salad with only vegetables and low-fat dressing. Where are you eating?

Good suggestions, thanks. I actually don't know where I'm eating. We're visiting my husband's people, so you know how that is. I go where I'm taken!

Yep LOL! If you knew where you were going you could look online at the nutrition information. Grilled shrimp/chicken and veggies is usually low calorie too. Or grilled fish if you like it.

Any broth based soup is good. Salads with no or very little dressing. In California, most of the restaurants put all their nutritional information either on the menu or in a booklet that stays on the table. It makes it so much easier to eat out on DDs.

Gotcha, thank you both! Gracie, thanks for reminding me, shrimp is super low cal (as long as it's not fried or drenched in oil), so are oysters. Dawn, that would be soooo helpful, but over here in AZ, not so much! :)

Oysters! Gotta put them on both DD & UD lists!

I hope you have a great vacation.

Also - it's life!! Do your best! And remember you can carry on better when you get home!

Thanks, Vicky, I needed that! I can get a little perfectionist ;)
