Yup, that's it, Sophie

But- perhaps (going out on a limb here) you should keep doing what you are doing - eating what you want as much as you want on UDs and keep the DDs right. Give yourself time to adjust to this new woe and get the higher carb/calorie eating out of your system, if you see what I mean.
I don't think I dare do that on purpose. I lose slowly enough as it is....

I am very hungry on DDs, but, oddly, when I wake up on the UD, I am not ravenous... funny.

I think this is a "good sign", AG!
I hope so-from your mouth to God's ear!!

I'll give it more time, and try hard to keep within my UD cals. Been a l-o-o-o-ng time since I counted cals.

Thanks so much for the help-keep it coming!

Wasn't hungry until 10:30, so I skipped breakfast. It was close enough to lunch anyway.

Ordered a ham, mordatella, dry salami and jack cheese deli sandwich for lunch. I put everything in *** and it's around 620 calories. It's sitting on my desk just waiting for 1:00.

That gives me over 1500 for dinner and wine. Not to fear! I can absolutely manage 1500 calories in an evening!

I'm having an UD today.

Brunch: 2 eggs, over easy in a pat of butter
oatmeal w/raisins, dates, & walnuts, 1 packet, plus 1/8 cup additional dry oatmeal
1 mug hot chocolate w/2 Tbsp. peppermint mocha creamer added to it
1 cup of orange juice
****** says 686 calories

Snack: sliced cheeses and meats
****** says 277 calories

Supper: 4 oz. roasted ham w/1/4 C. pineapple chunks
4 oz. baked potato, w/1 Tbsp butter
6 oz broccoli w/1 cheese slice melted over
2 oz tomato wedges w/my favorite Kraft fat free Italian dressing
1 oz black olives (about 8)
1 slice wheat bread w/1 pat butter
****** says 820 calories

1783 calories to this point... leaving some room for an evening snack later. Probably chocolate pudding.

Still quite full from lunch. Having a glass or two of wine while dinner is cooking. It will still be an hour or more until it's ready, so hopefully I'll have an appetite by then.

Sure enough, the wine awakened Mr. Munchy and I had about 200 calories worth of cherry cheesecake, lol.

Now I'm having dinner which is 1 c. ratatouille, 1/2 c. griot (pork) and 1/2 c. red beans and rice.

UD for me!

I had a wonderful OMM breast with half a banana, saved a little bit of it for my ice cream this evening
Lunch was a ham and Swiss sandwich, steamed broccoli and zucchini, ate half of the sandwich and the other half layer and pulled off most of the bread
Snack of yogurt mixed with a little protein powder and sunflower seeds on top
Dinner was leftover thin cut steak cut into strips over romaine with mushrooms, yellow peppers, chopped walnuts, salsa and chipotle ranch. I had a couple tortilla chips and a couple bites of the nacho hamburger helper I made for the family
Im gonna have a snack of banana walnut frozen yogurt over a piece of my chocolate OMM later

I'll be at about 1800 for the day

Oops, forgot how vicious those DDs right before TOM can be. Went way above my DD by like 500 calories, so I guess it was more like a MD. This came in the form of extra dark chocolate along with a small portion of my ground lamb casserole.

I'm not worried though. Still gonna go with my UD tomorrow and then make it a really good DD on Saturday.

Well, I wasn't quite done after all, lol. Silly wine causing the appetite to fire up. Two glasses was all. Anyway, had 3/4 c. whole milk plain yogurt with blackberries.

Not a very good UD. We did eat breakfast-for-lunch @ Denny's which was great. I even ate a slice (and a half!) of rye toast Per *** the whole meal came to almost 700 calories. Problem was, I wasn't hungry for dinner so didn't eat much. I'm not even close to my UD number for the day. I suppose I could call it a MD since that is basically what it was and then do another UD tomorrow.

Jinxed myself, as I often do. Had a family pet emergency and ended up not being able to make good decisions. I had TONS of calories left over, and very little time for dinner so I figured KFC should do it. Well, I wasn't hungry, ate half my dinner, forced some more, then gave up. I still had over 600 calories left, so now I'm having double my amount of wine. While this isn't ideal, at least it's somewhat enjoyable.

Sorry about the pet problem. Hope all is well now. Personally I all for the wine cure.....

I see that this has turned into the 'Friday, what are you eating today thread?' lol.
