whoooeee, the chocolate is calling

But I'm not answering!

I figure the only way I'm really going to be able to eat chocolate is if I follow the rules, here. I had my chocolate yesterday. I'll have it again tomorrow.

Its before noon on my dd and I've already had 2 poached eggs and a cheese stick, so its time to simmer down my appetite and move on to something else.

Yikes! These early dd's let you know what you're made of...

Thanks Kissa. I will do it. I just want it to be effortless, because I'm a big baby.

NO GUTS.. NO GLORY! ONWARD AND UPWARD! (or downward, in our case...)

To give you inspiration, I give you these words from the poem, Don't Quit..

".....and many a person turns about
when they might have won... had they stuck it out....."

also:

".....Often the struggler has given up
when he might have captured the victor's cup....."

The only way we fail is if we don't do it. Hang in there. Tomorrow comes again in a few hours. For the rest of your life there will be tomorrows just a few hours away. And if you do this right, there will be a slim figure as well as chocolate! Hard to beat that.

I can't eat that much early in the day - if I did, I would eat all day long!!!! but you could have a square of chocolate at night perhaps to reward yourself after a good DD (if you have sufficient cals and want it)!

I'm just looking at a box of Fair Globe Dark Chocolate, 1 square (a 10th of the bar) contains 55 cals only - if you break it up first and then store 1 square individually, you shouldn't be tempted to eat more than the portion.

Chocolate is good for you!! However, if you can't stop at one square - nibble it and allow it to melt in your mouth - don't chew - then perhaps it is best to avoid it.

Yes, I get the dark chocolate - 85% cocoa or more - and it's approx. 55 calories for a nice-sized square. I eat it slowly, nibbling, and never eat more than one square before I'm satisfied. It takes me a long time to eat my chocolate up that way, lol.
