I'm COLD on DD's

Really cold. My nose and fingers are freezing. I have on socks, slippers, jeans, a turtleneck and a warm up jacket.

Anybody else experience this?

Off to make some hot tea.

There's another thread (I think it's called "I'm freezing.") It's pretty common and there are all kinds of theories.

I never wear socks to bed, but have had to put on socks and two blankets on DDs since starting JUDDD.

Not sure how to link the thread.

lol, Dawn.

I wonder if we'll be freezing in the AC this summer while everyone else wants it cranked up? lol. Be prepared to bring a light sweater along, hehe.

Oh thanks! I'll read that.

It's odd, because typically, I get cold AFTER eating.

My ds built me a fire in the woodstove, so that is helping. I think I'll try some exercise and see if that helps too.

Me too. The only time I'm warm on DDs is when I'm in front of the fireplace under a blanket with the baby and both dogs snuggled in.

When I did chores yesterday on my DD, I just knew it must be below freezing in the barn. Didn't remember the weather forecast mentioning a freeze. Checked the temps when I got back in and it was in the 50's with a high in the 60's for the day. I could have sworn it was below freezing. Wore a sweater in the house since I had the day off plus a stocking cap.

My DH bought me some of those adorable mitten/fingerless glove combos for Christmas. I hadn't used them until starting JUDDD; now they're my DD buddies! I don't mind.

I am too, yesterday I was freezing, the heat in the house was on 72, I refused to turn it up more so I just bundled up, and I always have to wear socks to bed on DD's. Glad to know I am not alone, I am going to read the other "I'm freezing" link, Thanks!

I was going to ask about that too! I cranked up the heat today and the other night I couldn't sleep because I was so cold. That was a DD too.

UD for me too. I was freezing all morning. I had a very light breakfast and kept freezing until after a substantial lunch. I really think it takes a good meal to warm me up. Very weird.

The other day when I was MUDDDg and doing the DD part of my day, I was freezing until I started the FD part... and after eating a big meal, I felt myself warming up! Kooky times! lol.

I was just talking to DH about it and we decided it's just like a wood stove. If you're not adding much fuel, it gets cooler and cooler. Then, when you add a good amount of fuel, it warms right back up.

I warmed up after some exercise this afternoon (exercising in front of the woodstove will do that for sure!). Then stayed warm through the rest of the evening.

This freezing thing is getting worse for me. DD's or UD's. It doesn't matter. My normal body temperature is usually around 97.7 and has been all of my life. Which does explain why I am cold natured. But I checked my temperature just now and it is 96.5. Guess that explains why my hands are ice cold even with the central heat blasting and an electric heater at my feet. Since I had foot surgery I wear very supportive shoes with socks so my feet are warm but the rest of me isn't. I wore a stocking cap all day yesterday but I am not sure it would be appropriate in an office but I am about to the point of I don't care. I just want to be warm.
I used to get cold on LC when I was actively losing weight so I can only hope it is a side effect of fat loss. Of course, shivering will also burn calories.
I don't usually drink coffee during the day but I am sipping on a hot mug now to see if that will help. Warm up from the inside.

I'm cold even on UD's now too. Fingerless mitts have become my friend. And I plan to knit myself a pretty cowl from some soft yarn to wrap around my neck and wear indoors. I almost always wear a warm-up jacket or sweater in the house.

Exercise will warm me up for a short time.

I would welcome the burning up anytime now.
Tina - Maybe I should jog up and down the hallway for a bit. Anything would help.

I live in down so am never cold; comforters, robes, jackets.
But I do need long johns underneath when I go out.
Summer is a different story. Never cold.
