On that note, has anyone tried making brownies using diet soda? SO good and the only calories you have to worry about are in the dry mix you use. Works with cake too, hehe. I made brownies using diet doctor pepper... yummy ^_^.

Ok I'm gonna go dance now
Now THAT is creative!!! I quit Diet Pepsi but I doubt using it (or Diet Coke or another Diet soda) would get me hooked again.

I can't take credit for it but I can sure eat it lol. I gave up most diet coke too because of the aspartame. I found Diet Rite Zero though made with splenda so I'm hooked again =\ *hangs head*

Are you all cooking the cakes and brownies at the same temp and length of time as given on the boxes?

Yes ma'am! The instructions stay the same. Everything turns out a little on tge soft side so be careful taking everything of the pan.

I just love plain angel food cake...going to make some cupcakes and freeze them for individual servings. I was told that angel food cake freezes well...I never would have thought so!
