This bodes oh-so-well for me! While I don't mind the DD's, I surely do "enjoy" the UD's, and leave no calorie undiscovered! If that means I will lose better...then I am good with that!

Just popping in to say that I kept this in mind on my DD yesterday, and it really helped!! I was able to stay well under my 500 cal ceiling for the first time by having some meat and cheese in the afternoon.

Exactly! I try to understand the JUDDD buds who have a hard time reaching that UD ceiling but . . . I just can't.

Great thread!

Ok...well...that "moderation with pre-measuring" didn't really go that well.

I ended up skipping dinner, which seemed boring, to indulge in more treats.

This morning I am up four pounds; because I was low-carb for five days, and in addition to carbs, I had salty carbs yesterday.

We'll see if this pans out for me! Another DD ready to go...

LOL Do the sin.. pay the price.

When I decided to return to a really great mid-range carb level which includes all the low carb foods I've adored all my life, like prime rib and lobster and etc.. but also include some high carb foods too, like chocolate fudge and.. well especially the chocolate fudge.. I just decided to carb up and then start in from that point.

Works really good. IF, if you're going to go back to eating more carbs, then do the carbs, get on with the water re-gain thing, and then get on with your JUDDD life and your true weight loss.. that of losing the FAT. I didn't care about water weight. I just didn't want to be fat!

Me too! Makes so much more sense to me. And now I know whatever I lose is "real" and not water.

Yeah that's what I figured.

Today is kicking my BOOTY, though!!

Just trying to remember how psychologically depleted I feel when I face the same foods day in, day out.

Aw.. sorry. Just try to remember how hard it was the first two or three weeks of going true very low carb. That kicks everybody, and you either stick with it or you cave. This is sort of the same thing, in a way, but when you get through the hard part, and on into the JUDDDing part where it's a whole lot easier, it.. is.. so.. worth it! Hang in there, Hon.

I'm doing my DD today on that cabbage-chicken-laughing cow-type cheese. It's so darned good, and filling, and low carb, and low cal. Perfect for DDs.

Yes, I remember when going on vLC, I felt awful for about a week. I started having my old symptoms of potassium deficiency and had to start supplementing again before I felt better. That was no fun and a bit scary.

I also enjoyed my favorite variation on that dish today, and boy is it filling!

Hang in there, Moon!
