Gotta find this one.

Ah, it's Linda Sue's recipe. That woman doesn't KNOW how to make a bad recipe!
I loosely went by this recipe...with a few changes.

-1/2 c. oats
-2 c. water (cook for longer, increases portion size)
-2 packets splenda
-1 packet diet hot cocoa (Swiss Miss)
-1 1/4 tbsp. natural creamy peanut butter

Itís really, really good. I highly recommend it! Only ~300 cals.

Thanks! I have all of that, except the very concept of "creamy" peanut butter is heretical Bring on the chunky!

Sunday morning, for sure!

LOL -- I have both creamy and chunky. I prefer them for different things!

No problem Sophie!

I've been on an oats kick lately. Yesterday I made a homemade blueberry compote to stir in; Wednesday's was homemade cinnamon apple. I think my favorite so far was the blueberry.

L - Homemade pot roast made with grass-fed beef and salad (with cranberries and pecans on top)
D - Not 100% sure, but I have been eyeing my neglected Belgian waffle iron and I am thinking about making a cheese "waffle" sandwich. I just like the idea of the crispy, buttery bread with the cheese oozing out.

Today I am going to not eat candy. I think I may have gotten that one out of my system :-)
Gharkness, please, please, please will you marry me????

Heat up the waffle iron.
Get two slices of 35-calorie bread, put cheese between them, and butter 'em up on the outside. (that's real cheddar cheese and real butter...none of that American cheese crap).
Clamp, turn, lick lips, smell delicious melty butter-and-cheese.
EAT cheese sandwich waffle! The point is to get more crusty area than I would normally get with just a regular grilled cheese sandwich.

In past experience, my waffle iron tends to quit before *I* am ready for it to, so it might take an extra cycle. I want hot and melty cheese with a nice crusty outside of bread. Oh, typically I put jalapenos in with the cheese - don't want to forget THAT step!
I so want to live in your house.

S: Skinny flat white coffee, 1/2 a cinnamon swirl (not as good as cinnabon's!! LOL!!!) and a scoop of chocoloate icecream in a waffle cone.

Have ended my UD on approximately 1800 Cals (maintenance level = 2155, so after yesterday's DD of 251 my average is 1025 - I'm happy with that!) and am starting my DD tonight at 6pm - to allow myself to enjoy dinner with friends and family for the next 2 evenings (fortunately Saturday's dinner will be late - 8pmish - and Sunday's dinner will be early - 5.00pmish). So I have 500 cals max - to eat between now and tomorrow evening at 7 - when I will start drinking champagne!
Vicky and I didn't eat the same today because I didn't have breakfast but a soya latte at the gym, and our lunch was different because I had a mixed Lebanese mezze, (hence her mouthful of tabouleh). Otherwise much the same plan.

Oh, did I mention my red wine this evening....

Lol, 40 years my lovely DH, makes me pretty safe. But I can dream.

Strangely, the cheese/jalapeno waffles have more appeal, am I growing old?

I did exercise--some pilates. Had some broth/egg white in the afternoon. Supper was a sausage/beef patty and a lettuce/broc/caulif salad with balsamic dressing. 431 cals, 20 g carb.
