Miracle Noodle "rice"

I just received my order of 6 Miracle Noodle rice packages and am looking for recipes. I know I can use them in soup, as I do the regular Miracle noodles, but wondered what other dishes folks here have tried? Thanks.

Hey belfrybat. I see you already know to use them in soup. Soup made with carton of organic chix broth, a wedge of laughing cow, kale, celery, carrots, parsley, shredded chicken breast and a bag of the miracle rice---and I am good to go for four DDs. Love how they don't decompose.

Thanks. Has anyone tried a rice pudding with this? I've really been hankering for rice pudding the past few weeks (one of my winter comfort foods). I'm thinking perhaps cream, diabeti sweet, and eggs mixed in (for an UP day obviously).

I make an "oatmeal" every day with the shiritaki rice. I mix it with cinnamon, walden farms marshmallow dip, a tablespoon or two of pumpkin, and zap in the micro. Gets me thru my work day. Usually eat it around noon.

They are very similar, but the tofu kind has 20 cal. per serving vs. 0. Actually I prefer the House brand tofu noodles, but found the Miracle on-line for less, and since I am trying to stay as low as possible on the DDs, I figured I'd buy it. The tofu kind has a much better "mouth feel" but neither of them has the texture of noodles or rice.

They are fab cooked in a cabbage stir fry, along with garlic, a little chicken stock, hot sauce, mushrooms, laughing cow light and a protein. I cook mine on low for about 40-50 mins....and it comes out so soft and delicious! the noodles really absorb all the flavours, and taste much more like ordinary noodles done this way...it my DD favourite at the moment!

Just bumping this to find out what you've tried the stuff in so far.

I've found that if the gluc noodles and/or rice is the mainstay of the dish, I don't like it as well, because of the texture, but if it is just a part of the recipe and there are other ingredients too, it does add a lot of bulk to the dish at 0 calories, and don't mind it being in there.
