I did it. I got on the scale and...... no weight loss. Not even an ounce.:sad:
But I am sticking with it for at least another couple of weeks because I really like the idea of this way of eating. Plus, I really don't know what else to do.

I didn't lose for my first few weigh-ins either. In fact, I gained! But I stuck with it and was rewarded with losses ever since.

Did you add carbs? From everything I've read, if you add carbs back in, you can expect to gain some water weight from it. So if you held steady, then maybe you lost some fat under the water weight?

:console:I am sorry...it can be frustrating, too, but from what I've read around here it seems that how your clothes fit is a better indicator of how you are doing than a number on the scale. If you're feeling good in your clothes...then celebrate!!

I agree with hanging in there! You body needs time to "adjust", especially if you are adding in foods you are not use to (carbs). Give it another week and see what happens. If there is still no loss but also no gain then you are probably eating at maintenance level calories and may want to adjust your calories for better weight loss.

Come back and let us know how you are doing and if so, we can help at this time if nothing is moving along, but PLEASE just hang in there! :console:

Thanks for the kind words.

It is true that I added a some carbs back in although it hasn't been excessive. Last night I ate a banana before I went to bed just to help me sleep. Maybe that was not a good idea.

I also probably overate at the restaurants the last couple of days. Calorie counting is very difficult to do when I eat out.

But I am going to stick with it. I'll let ya'll know what happens next week.

You have a great attitude! That is going to help you through! Keep doing what you're doing, eventually you will see losses, I'm sure!!
