JUDDD is working like a charm!
 
I'm in maintenance, but wouldn't mind losing a few more pounds. I didn't really expect to lose more because I've been eating pretty freely on the weekends. I've mentioned this before, so pardon me if I repeat myself, but I've been thrilled to weigh one pound under goal every Saturday morning for the last four weeks, and as long as I continue to do that, I've said I'd be happy.

This last weekend, although I ate out twice, I DID try to keep the calories under better control, and I only gained one pound. I was thinking this might be the week I can actually drop some extra weight and hit a new low by Saturday morning. Well, it's Tuesday morning, and I've already hit that new low! 143 this morning! Wow. Just wow. :clap:

I really am delighted to hear that JUDDD is working so very well for you! It's a pretty remarkable plan in what it can help you achieve with weight loss and/or maintenance and in the fact that there aren't list of foods you have to combine in eat in this order or lists of forbidden foods you have to avoid.

The longer you do JUDDD, the more it can do for you in return. Pretty exciting concept! :laugh:

What, in JUDDD, out of curiosity, do you attribute it to? Metabolism revved up?

I'm a little OC, I guess, and I like to track the calories. When I don't track, I eat too much. It also helps me make better choices, overall. And I DO think that my metabolism is healing. But mostly, I think those DDs are the real key. I "diet" three days a week, and that's enough to offset the eating I do the rest of the time. How cool is that? :D

Ah yes, I know that my metabolism is healing simply because of the amount of calories I'm able to have and still maintain.

That is so awesome Redhead! I myself am just astounded how easy the weight comes off with JUDDD. After 2 years of maintaining around 163 on low carb, I feel so lucky to have found JUDDD, I thought I was just destined to stay overweight.

indeed!!! suuuuuuuuuuuuuper encouraging....what do your numbers for DD and UD look like...i'm OC too and track everything i put in this gullet within reason, i have to guestamate eating out sometimes...thanks for sharing your success with us!!! YAY!!!!

Mayleesa, my DDs are about 600 calories, and my UDs are right around 1850-1900 calories. I do DDs on M-W-F, UDs on T-Th, and on the weekends, I just do two UDs so my rotation stays the same each week. I have been eating freely on the weekends, so usually gain a lot of water weight and have to relose it during the week. However, this last weekend, I watched it a little more closely and have actually lost more weight. If I actually slip all the way down to 140, I will probably add another couple hundred calories to my UDs. I don't mind 600 calorie DDs at all, as long as I know I can eat so well the other days. :clap:

Thanks, Lill Miss. It's been such a long time since we've been so heavy, we hardly recognize those people, lol. It sure is good to know we can maintain this loss for the rest of our lives without starving.
