YES! Pizza's been verboten forever, and that truffled white cheese is one of the things that makes life a little better. I haven't had it in months - same deal with Waldorf chicken salad. So many delicious yummy things!!

And I still have my wits about me enough to know that if I have more than one slice of pizza, my wheat-hating tummy will rebel and ruin everything. So I feel very much in control.

DD for me today.

So far,

1 Cup Almond Milk
1 container Carbmaster yogurt
1 slice cheese toast w/35-calorie bread and one ounce real cheese. Oh, and jalapeno peppers

That puts me at: 260 for the day and I am going to also have a pumpkin shake, which leaves me at 410 calories for the day.

Depending on how late I have the shake (I typically use a LOT of ice and make it into 2 servings) I may not need to eat anything else. But if I do, I am glad to know I have those 90 calories left to eat.

And I have started drinking tea! I have never been a tea drinker, but since I don't use cream in my coffee on DD's, I figured I'd try flavored teas and finding them interesting.

I noticed my shoulders are getting thinner again. I don't know why it is that I have to gain first in my butt and lose first in my shoulders, but there ya have it!

@atkinsgoddess: you should not be so pained to eat this way. No, I'm not saying you "shouldn't" feel that way or that you "shouldn't" get hungry...I am only saying: you need to add a little more food. Three-hundred-something, even four-hundred-something calories just isn't enough, especially if you are a relative newby and are finding it to be a problem. Cut yourself a little slack, so you won't get discouraged and quit! We need you here!

atkinsgoddess, that DD number seems very low to me. I'd bump it up to 500 and see how that works for you. I think you'd still lose at a steady clip.

I never consider my day finished until my head hits the pillow. You just never know what might come up. One of my hardest times is when I am planning the next day - my UD. I get to thinking about all the options and I think "well, why can't I have that ....NOW?"

Sorry to hear about your unplanned snackies. They will get ya, sometimes!

UD for me

I will end the day at just over 1800 of I have the skinny cow ice cream bar. It's chilly so I don't know but I really want it but maybe I'll just have a couple pieced of dark chocolate or as glass of wine.

Finishing off my regular JUDDD DD at around 750 calories, might have been a little less or more, but I estimated some things.

I alternate FDs and DDs so part of them falls during each day (24 hr DD instead of 36 hr. for regular JUDDD), but lately I've been doing one or two regular DD per week.

DD today. I'm liking eating low on my DDs so I don't really have to worry if I go overboard on the other days. I only do 3 DDs per week. I was up 1.4 pounds this morning which is good because I've been falling below my weight range. This JUDDD really works!

B: Coffee with SF creamer - 65
L: Progresso Light Chicken Santa Fe Soup, 2 SF hard candies - 180
D: Low carb pita with turkey slices and a laughing cow cheese instead of mayo - 232

= 477 calories

DD and feeling a little "under the weather" today and fighting a cold that DD tried to give to me.

Very hungry, which is always the way I get when I'm fighting a cold so I actually went over my DD calories today by 90+. Not like me at all, but for some reason I needed the protein/fat/salt from nuts today (woke up with the peanut butter craving) and it kinda got out of hand tonight.

Not a worry here, though. I listen to my body and today my body wanted a little more food than usual and it wanted nuts. Just the way it is sometimes!

Total calories for today: 841 (should have been no more than 750 )

Pat, are you doing total fasts on your DDs now? I haven't seen this before with your post and I'm wondering why you have decided to do this?

Thanks for letting me be nosy!
