YAY! Glad to hear you're lighter again. I purposely avoid the scale like the plague the day after my UD's because I know it will not be "real" weight but water from my UD indulgences and I only weigh after a good DD and use that number to track my weights. I also know if my muscles are sore of if TOM is coming along that I will be all over the map with my weight and honestly as long as the general trend is down and I only officially count the post-DD weights (I don't weigh after MDs either) I am happy and I stick with it. The book does recommend not to weigh after an UD and only after a DD to keep the encouragment factor high. :-) I see the value in that advice a lot. However I have consistently seen my post-DD scale weights drop - its hard for me to resist weighing every other day and to wait until 6 or 8 days in for a weekly weight because I get so excited to see the changes after almost every DD!!! :-) I have a hard time this time around (I have used JUDDD in the past and switched to Atkins and now I am back since Atkins didn't work well for me, because I couldn't stick to it) because I am also adjusting to more carb intake like you are doing. Weight loss seems a little slower because I keep shocking it with carbs lol. It will adjust eventually but I am still getting more weight loss than with just Atkins. I seem to need a caloric deficit to lose anything it seems.
Good luck and keep up the GREAT work despite all your stressors and difficulties. As for me, this time I am sticking to JUDDD because it just works! -Michelle |

Yay Shelly...awesome news. I also think the strength training is probably holding more water as well. Since I started Chalean Extreme my weight has held steady but I feel thinner and more toned. I know if I keep at this WOE it will eventually drop. Fingers crossed for both of us.
