HCG/Sensa + JUDDD?

would taking the HCG pills work well with the JUDDD diet? I don't want to go full-blown HCG but I'm willing to take the pills if it will speed up JUDDD.

Also, is anyone using Sensa with their diet?

I've thought about the same thing...I am not sure it would work part-time like that...I think it has to build up in the system. Are you talking about taking it only on DDs and not on UDs or full time?

Jenn1225 01-15-2012 06:08 PM

honestly I was just throwing the idea out there to see if I could find anyone that knew for sure. I've only heard about the HCG diet through comments here so I know little/nothing about the drops or pills.

I would say no IMO. HCG really only works following the protocal food and 500 calories per day

My feeling is that there is no reason to be on HCG when you are following the JUDDD eating rotation. Although, I fully admit that I don't know all that much about HCG.

The fasting period of JUDDD kicks in after a little while, and along with 500 calorie DDs comes that wonderful appetite suppression thing. So you wouldn't need HCG for any particular help there. That just comes from fasting. That's a sort of circular thing where your ability to fast with little appetite comes to you from fasting, which then gives you the ability to fast with little appetite, which comes to you from fasting, which.........

And I don't know if you would consider taking this stuff on UDs, but they are at your full maintenance level of calories, so don't know why HCG would even be on the table then.

:goodpost: and since JUDDD is done with an UD (more calories than 500) and a DD (around 500) than I can't see how the HCG would work anyway. HCG needs those 500 calorie days to work. JUDDD needs those UD calories to work. Hope you see what I'm saying here, I just don't think it would work well at all. :dunno:

I'm a veteran of hCG and I'll just say you have to give it 100% to be successful. I would definitely try JUDDD alone first and see how you feel about it. hCG works well, and I'm glad I did it to get my last 50 pounds off, but I'd rather eat more normally and lavishly (on UDs) than follow the protocol any day.

I don't know much about Sensa, but it doesn't seem to be getting much press around here, so perhaps it's not something that is particularly helpful.

As one who has done two rounds of HCG successfully, I'd say no -- don't try to combine it with any other diet. Either do HCG as written, or JUDDD. Not both.

I agree. Done 2 rounds of hcg, and now doing JUDDD, I would not try combining these 2 diets, you would most likely gain weight using hcg and doing up days. Try JUDDD first and see if you like it!

i did some rogue hcg and i wouldn't be surprised if u were able to lose if u combined the two programs, but i would say just skip the hcg all together. this plan works pretty well on its own and is forgiving.

i'd also skip the sensa because after a while the apetite suppression kicks in and its all gravy.

I, too am an HHCG veteran, and I would not combine protocol with JUDDD.

Either one or the other, but I would totally recommend JUDDD!
