Getting ready

Going to the store today to get some things to prepare for Monday when I start Juddd. Wouldn't you know that this week is when the scale start going down to the lowest number I have seen in a while. Still lc'ing but this week I decided to add yogurt and friut back into my plan along with exercising and the weight is falling off so you know I have had some second thoughts about Juddd. I am still gonna do it and I hope to continue in the right direction. I still lurking over the board and staying encouraged.

You absolutely have to do what you feel is the best eating plan for you, the one that will give you the final weight and the health and the foods that you want to maintain for life.

If you come to JUDDD, we will welcome you with open arms. If you decide not to, we will still wish you all the success in the world attaining your goals. Good luck, either way!

Oh I still want to do it b/c there are some foods I miss like my Kashi golean cereal and oatmeal and granola and so on. If Juddd is going to let me have these simple pleasures and lose weight then I am all for it. I going to atleast give it a 2 week trial and if I can lose 2 pounds within that time then I will know it works.

Oh, good! I know you probably already know this, but if you're low carb (depleted of water stores) before JUDDD, and then carb up (regain several pounds of water weight) once you start JUDDD, expect the scale to go UP right at first rather than down. LOL

Some folks don't experience this much, but some do, and it's a real disappointment when you're expecting weight loss right from the start and see this result instead! :annoyed:

Hey KJ, I transitioned from vlc. To avoid the water weight gain I continued lc for a couple of days then started re-introducing carbs one at a time. For me, that prevented the water weight gain - I kept right on losing.

Of course, it is only water weight and goes away very quickly. Aren't win-win situations wonderful?

I don't plan on going Hog wild on the carbs but I know what to expect. I also went and got a food scale today so I think I am ready.

Sometimes people stop losing on Atkins because they don't move up the rungs/increase their daily carbs and remain forever in induction. You're probably seeing greater losses because of that. Also, if you were to follow Atkins all the way through, you can have some of your cereals now and again. Some people can maintain just fine on 60+ carbs a day. Heck, some people can lose on that! Good luck on JUDDD!
