It's Saturday! What are you eating today?

DD
I think I'm going to stick to broth and coffee/tea today and try to make it a true fasting day

You can do it! I did it yesterday, and I didn't find it difficult at all.
In fact, it was so easy that I decided all my DDs are going to be
true fasting days.

I'm having company for dinner so this is going to be tricky, not going to measure food while I have an audience.

Coffee with cream
Soup and crackers
Baked ham, mashed taters, green bean casserole, green salad, broccoli salad

FD here.

Just had my first breakfast in a long time (I usually skip it and don't eat until noon or later).

-Waffle with Kerrygold butter & diet syrup (to save my body from a blast of sugar and I still like the diet as much as regular, so I continue to buy it)
-2 sausage links
-black coffee

Today will be an UD for me.

Well, I'm planning on my first batch of grits with a couple of eggs, over easy, and everything all melty-buttery yummy! And maybe a slice of buttered toast too. Or maybe a sausage patty.

And aarrrgggghhhh!!! My appetite isn't waking up yet! Funny the appetite suppression that develops after you've been on the plan awhile. But I want my appetite to wake up now.

I want my Grits!

Guess that will end up being lunch.

UD here...

B: coffee w/ cream, sweet roll w/ butter and a granola bar
L: ?
D: ?

Not sure what the rest of the day will bring. My younger DS has a hockey game this afternoon and then we are all going to an AHL game. I think I'll try to eat small for lunch, assuming that we'll eat out for dinner. I need to keep control of this UD...I'm seeing some downward motion on the scale after bouncing back and forth all week and I want to keep the momentum up.

Have a great day!

My first DD!

So excited!

Breakfast: Protein Power Shake & 2 cups coffee
Lunch: Beef Broth w/ chives, 1 HB egg
Dinner: Lean Cuisine Meatloaf w/ gravy

I've entered all of this into ************, (LOVE UPC scanner option)! And it came to 458....I figure it is okay to be a tad under my aim of 500, is that correct?

I'm not sure what my plan is today but since it is an UD and FOOTBALL! it may be a good day to really try to up my UD number. OTOH, tomorrow is also FOOTBALL! and it might make it harder to do a DD if I overdo today. Decisions, decisions

I never ever get to 500, usually between 200-400, and several here have had 0 calorie days. It's perfectly fine, in fact may even be preferable!

I haven't eaten breakfast in about a week...but my son asked for waffles this morning (which we haven't made in at least a year--or two, possibly) and I had one...with lots of bacon!

Going to go for a walk so my blood sugar doesn't freak out.

I'm switching to a MD so I can make Tuesday an UD:

So...
I'll forego the steak and have a grilled chicken breast instead and have an Atkins Endulge bar instead of the mousse. If I only have an ounce of Jarlsberg and cut out the butter that should reduce calories to about 1100. Then I will be on track to keep Tuesdays as UDs.

DD here - It almost doesn't matter what I eat today as I have already burned it off (fat blasting turbo jam, ab intervals, then a 2 mile walk - 668 calories burned...pheww!) and I still have to clean house, wash clothes, and go grocery shopping.

B - coffee, 1 T light cream
L - 1 T cottage cheese, 1/4 cup pineapple
D - 15 bean soup

lol waffles. I get the nutrigrain light ones and they're really good
I've gotten so used to the walden farms pancake syrup that I prefer it now. I picked up a small Mrs Butterworths, thinking woo-hoo real syrup! But it was so sickly sweet I ended up just ditching it.

I can totally relate to this! Like, real syrup, jam, etc., is soooo mind numbingly sweet now, I can't tolerate it. Even honey I can only take in tiny quantities.

MD for me today!

I am loving this appetite suppression that has finally kicked in. Usually on the weekends i always had to have a morning snack before the gym and then breakfast when i got back. I always wake up so early so i would end up getting hungry. Well, today, i didnt even get hungry until i got back from the gym. Even then i didnt really get hungry until i picked up breakfast for everyone at McDonalds and smelled the biscuits! LOL
I didnt have Mcdonalds though. I never do. I always eat at home.

So i had my oatmeal with REAL brown sugar, cinnamon and butter, a piece of ham and a boiled egg for breakfast.
I have talked myself out of having the grilled cheese today. Ill have it tomorrow i think. I went to walmart and bought my son a dip cone and shared it with him. Man was it good. I ate probably 1/3 of it and im feeling it in my tummy!! It was so sweet! The chocolate on the outside is so sweet but that vanilla ice cream was the best!
So lunch will be salad with chicken and maybe a few pretzels
And then dinner tonight with the family, fried chicken, potato skins, veggie tray and im bringing me a big bowl with lots of salad and ill eat 1 chicken breast and maybe 1 or 2 potato skins.

If i stick with this i should be under 1200 for the day.
Oh and i stopped at DD this morning and got a medium nonfat latte with 2 shots of espresso, hazelnut flavor and spenda.
That was sooo good!!!

Love reading all the foods and choices folks put into their meals.

I finally got my GRITS! Pretty good and also an interesting texture. So had a big pile of grits with lots of melting butter on top and s&p, alongside two eggs over easy, and two slices of buttered toast. I'm carbed up and filled with energy, and going strong. (Getting ready for company arriving tomorrow.)

Anyway, I'm scooping all the leftover grits into a small loaf pan to chill and solidify. Then will try the egg/flour/fry idea to have alongside supper.

They weren't instant.. I got the *Cooks in 5 minutes* kind and made this on the stovetop.. the bottom sort of stuck but didn't scorch.. guess I didn't stir often enough?
