Today is a DD. Lately I've been drinking a lot of plain iced tea during the day, and it seems to be very refreshing and satisfying at the same time. No appetite.

I'll either fast all day or fast until evening and then have a small meal.

So far 2 x latte machiatto's

Going to try and last until dinner tonight... then it may not be as low cal as I would like - but should be okay.

Today is last DD of the holiday - looking forward to being able to plan my DD meals at home.

Just curious for those of you who posted UD's.
I'm on my first UD and my menu seems so much more complicated, infact I'm not even sure yet how I will reach my 2000 calorie mark. Is your UD a lot less calories then mine at this point? When I look at some of the ones above it doesn't seem like many calories at all. Maybe 1200?

My day is looking like I might be having
Breakfast: Special K Protein Plus cereal with Almond milk and an atkins bar. (300 calories)
Snack: String cheese and fruit, (100 calories)
Lunch:Bean and veggie burrito? (500 Calories)
Dinner: Salad with avocado and grilled veggies (500 calories)
Still need more snacks equaling another 600 calories.

I haven't had it, but I think almond milk is lower calories than cow's milk, right? Can you have cow's milk on UDs to increase calories?

What about some nuts with that cheese and fruit?

Cheese on the bean and veggie burrito?

For salad, some high calorie "throw ins" would be hard boiled egg - sliced, seeds or nuts (chopped), shredded cheese, pasta, sliced olives, a dressing of real evoo or other oil, or a mayo-based dressing.

What about beverages too, such as coffee or tea with cream, or having some juice.

That's some things off the top of my head.

Lori - I normally have 2000 - 2400 on UD. Travelling at the moment - so not really sure what numbers I'm truly eating. When I get home I imagine my days will look more like yours I'm sure!! With some of Sophie's suggestions!!

DD for me (until evening)

Cafe du Monde coffee & chicory blend. Will have 6 cups. (down from 8 cups most days)

I don't know what I'll have later, but I have a bunch of veggies in the crisper, and I could have those raw or stir fried with some large shrimp. I could do a version of the laughing cow cheese and cabbage too, since I have both of those. Time will tell

No but I'm on a 3 week religious meat fast. Trust me all I can think about is grabbing a steak to up my calories. But I'm mostly doing Tofu and other meat substitutes right now.

I'm not a fan of cows milk. And I'm coming off of a VLC diet, so Almond milk is what I have in the house. Heck all I have in the house is low calorie food. I have a fast food addiction problem so I'm trying really hard not to give in to that, except for lunch today. (Which its a mandatory fast food day at work)
I'm gonna need to start buying some higher calorie foods to meet my UD!

Having my first calories since 15 hours ago.

Bag of coleslaw mix fried with nonstick spray and onion & garlic powder (too lazy to chop them fresh), ginger (the squeeze kind), salt and pepper, fresh mushrooms, 2 egg whites, 5 T. soy sauce, and shrimp. Wedge of LC cheese melted in.

I could eat the whole skillet for around 250 calories, but I'm getting full with half of it.

Scratch that menu lol.
DH bought some sausage and cheese kolaches for breakfast, so I had those (3 of them - will be full for a month!) with my coffee.
I'll have low, low, NO carbs the rest of the day lol, so hot wings or steak later
