Feeling dead....but still kicking. I ended up eating more than I thought for lunch. Should amend my menu...but still have plenty of cals for dinner left.
Thanks for asking, gig went well! About 70 people...they seemed to love it. Got em all fooled.

Hi All - a little embarrassed at having hit 1750 on a DD - oh well!!!

It was the last night of the holiday - and everyone decided to eat out - so I went with it!!! 935 were from dessert and wine - again - oh well!!

Tomorrow I will enjoy my UD - and then have a really good DD on Sunday!

Make that 558 Calories! Hate when I transpose numbers! NEVER MIND! I just upped the amount of peanut butter so now I'm at 583 Calories, close enough to the original! I've been like this ALL day, gotta be the moon!!

Naughty! But if you're not going to actually do a DD, then enjoy the dickens out of what it becomes!

Hope you had a wonderful, glorious, and delightful vacation. It sure sounds like it was all of that.

Was feeling discouraged and thinking about quitting JUDDD because I'm not making too much progress despite sticking to plan. Decided to start my down day as usual and see how I felt as the day wore on. Happy to say that I'm not giving up just yet.

Down Day

L: broth and veggie soup
D: steak and romaine salad with light dressing

I know it's been said many times, but it deserves repeating.

I just LOVE shirataki noodles. I seriously thought I wouldn't make it today to the -400 calorie mark, but after I had my clam sauce w/shiritaki noodles, I was so completely satisfied and content.

I'm so glad I bought a case of them awhile back, because I'm using them just about every DD!!

DD today. Plain iced tea all day.

Fixed a spicy Italian sausage pizza for DH this evening at his request, and saw that it was thin crust and not too high in calories, so I snagged 1/4 of that pizza for my own supper, plus mixed veggie salad with a chopped tomato. Blue cheese dressing.

****** says 468 calories.

Ended up eating my soup at 2pm, then had about 1oz of garlic beef (no idea for cals, but not going to worry). Now I'm eating shrimp soup (300 cals). Honestly, although I'm enjoying the soup, I don't feel really hungry - I feel like my body is happily getting used to DDs. NO sense of deprivation now that I've got some good recipes under my belt!

For maintenance I've only been doing 3 DDs per week especially since I hit a new low this morning - 111 JUDDD is working a little too good. So tomorrow will be an even bigger up day! Then back to rotation until something comes up.

B: Coffee with SF creamer and apple pie a la mode - 580
L: Quizno's Chipotle Prime Rib Sub - 605
D: Another piece of apple pie (I didn't want that pie to go to waste!) - 340

= 1525 calories

Not a healthy day but it sure was good!

I finished the DD (a REAL honest to god 36 hour DD) with a grapefruit. Now having my lemon/honey/evoo concoction, and ending the day with about 690 calories.

The easiest DD I've ever had, truthfully. Not in lowest calories ever, of course, though I could have actually gotten by on a little less food. But easiest because the hunger was so manageable when it did come, and I had good protein food to fill me up, like the cabbage/egg white/shrimp/seasoning dish, and later a ham sandwich with real cheese.

I know how you feel. Don't give up, Speck. I have been stuck at the same weight for almost 6 weeks, following an initial loss of 4 lbs.
I reason this way: It has to eventually work. Our bodies all respond differently and this is change that may take some time. Just allow and accept. I'm with you!

Hang in there. I lost 5lb in my first month JUDDDing, which isn't very spectacular compared to some losses, but I've been more successful on this WOE than with anything else for a long time. It helped me not to weigh, but just to keep chugging along and notice other benefits (more energy, better skin, and looser clothing). Glad you're not giving up before the miracle happens

Ok my first UD was a disaster! I clocked over 3000 calories. This is gonna take some getting used to. I'm so used to VLC that I went a little over board. (that mixed with being at work for 13 hours and not having a lot of healthy choices)

Did I totally ruin everything? Or just pick up and move on?
Doing a DD today, and tomorrow's UD will be must better!

Nope, you didn't ruin anything. Just pick up and move on. It will be covered with a DD.

Yes, coming from LC to JUDDD, those LC foods can contain a lot of calories - much more than we realize, so it seems to help to eat smaller portions of fatty things and round it out with veggies and lower calorie proteins (shrimp and other seafood, chicken, egg white), until you adjust to things.
