And after 1 week.....

I have lost 4.2 lbs

(and I didn't weight this morning until after breakfast - so that is a conservative estimate!)

I could not be more pleased to hear this exciting report. It looks like you have your UD and DD numbers set nicely for good results.

Hope you are enjoying your food choices, and the fact that your weight loss was based on only having to diet half the time.

I absolutely am, Pat - I think the appetite suppression may have kicked in, too - as yesterday I only ate 431 cals, wasn't really hungry, but had to take medication, so thought I should eat.

Now, that might have to do with my dental work the day before, but so far today, not feeling much of a desire to eat either - but did have breakfast in order to get my calories kicked off.

So far my DD cals have been: 595, 561, 635, 431 and up days have been: 2820, 1886, 1694, 1639

So - still playing around a little bit to see what the right balance is - but it all feels good!

Thanks guys- pretty exciting stuff! Looks like I am going to have a pretty fair amount of my UD cals left for dinner tonight, since I have just not been very hungry today - so am trying to think of somewhere yummy to take the boys as my dh is out of town. Gee - what a terrible problem to have!
