Yes, I definitely have a hard time eating all my calories on up days. When I am tempted to go back to my old caloric restriction pattern, I just have to remind myself that if I go low-cal on up days, I'll shut off my SIRT1 gene and go back into starvation mode. So I eat almost all my calories on most up days.

It's getting easier.

Yeah, most of us eat up in that vicinity. It's not imperative that you reach your limit every single UD, nor that you never go over, ever. But overall, we try to eat at about what the calculators give us for UD numbers.

We already are extremely low in calories on the DDs, of course, so if we also hold our UDs pretty low much of the time, it does seem to make something in the brain trigger a slowdown of our metabolism, and Lordy, that's the last thing that most of us need. I think most of us needed to be here in the first place because we don't have the best metabolic function in the first place! A little sluggish there! LOL So we do everything we can not to cause it to feel the need to slow down any further.
