WOE: Enjoying JUDDD's freedom after years of low carb
Start Date: Every day!!! JUDD start 1/13/12
I normally weigh on the morning after a DD since I have trouble dealing with gains.

today, just for "fun" I weighed myself after an UUAAD (up up and away day), and I am up 2.5 pounds.... Yikes...

Having a good DD, and have just had an omelet made with egg beaters. I remember hating them by themselves, but this tasted ok-of course there was a bit of spinach and mushrooms in it, but it didn't make me gag...funny...so I am only at around 100 cals in my 341 day....salmon tonight, probably with cukes. Not too hungry today...must be all the stress...

Girl, you look amazing just how you are!

Do you think you'd be able to step on the scales only 1 x week? Or at least only after DDs? It might help if you can lose the attachment to the number it shows you.

Have you seen our recent threads on how measurements are the more accurate way to see how you're doing... because the scale is too fickle with its bounces from hormones, lack of sleep, stress, sickness, medications, salt, and on and on?

I'll tell you something... back in Feb. I saw 135# on the scale. Saw it 2 x and never again. I feel like - yeah, I could get down there if I go back into WLM and work for it.... but why?

I'm comfortable where I am. I eat well, I'm happy, I look good in my clothes. What's the struggle for? Why take the risk of looking skeletal and too skinny for my own good? Because let's face it - losing too much weight for one's structure takes a toll on the skin, the facial form, too many ribs showing, etc. It no longer looks healthy.

Are you happy with the way you're eating? Enjoying it?
You're at the best weight for your height and build... you look awesome! If you can look that good and enjoy eating the way you do, then why restrict and fight your metabolism for another pound down? Where will it end?

You're a hero for many who have ED and would try JUDDD. You've done soooo well!!!!! I admire you greatly. Many do.

I hope you can relax, Jo and just enjoy. Lots of for you, my JUDDD bud.
Thanks Sophie!
That is excellent sound advice for anyone who reaches goal...and
I really needed to hear it!
I can get so fixated on a number I forget to enjoy being at goal range!
My FD/DD IS working...i have been at a lb or 2 either side of goal for 5 months now....but there is still a part of me waiting for juddd to stop working.

My ED is still with me, i suspect it always will be, but with juddd I can control it...and still be at goal, without the misery of Bulimia.

Every day I need to remind myself...I am not just a number on a scale...I have more to offer!

big hugs
Jo

Hungry DD today thanks to TOM, but I am staying strong. Fixing supper for MIL for her birthday tonight, which will be a challenge. But if I do it right, I can have a small piece of cake after chicken and veggies for supper.

Ok - so it works! Two weeks today and I am at a new low. I am now seeing 81 on my KG scales instead of 83/82. Plus Friday DD was easy and I was not hungry at all.

I shall so enjoy my feed today.

So Stargazer, hate to say it, but 'we told you so'. (Actually I am thrilled to say it)

Yay Laurie!

WTG Yam-Yam!

Only up .2 after my MUDDD meal last night. I continues MUDDDing until 2pm, had some cereal and skimmed milk for breakfast then a tuna and mayo sandwich for lunch.

This evening I intend to have grilled mushrooms and some broth, or I may turn it into mushroom soup.

Very nice!

Have you decided if you'll continue to MUDDD or just do it now and then when the need presents itself?

Don't think I have really decided.

I have been perfectly happy rotating and throwing in the odd MD. But I knew last night's meal would not count as medium, and boy was I right.

But it has been very easy doing this, I even put some pasta in my mushroom soup tonight.

WOE: Whatever plan keeps me around 150 lbs!
I have a new pattern which seems to coincide with my new scale, so I don't know if it's me or the scale.

I've been the exact same weight for four days. This happened last week, where I was within 0.2 for five days, then had a drop, went back up, then dropped for a couple of days, then stabilized at my new low. I'm hoping this means there's a drop coming tomorrow or the next day.

It's only frustrating because I want to hit that 50 lbs mark and I'm one lb shy of it and stable!

Wondering if we could transition this thread to more of a daily chat thread, and then consolidate the Newbie thread into it?

Would make only one thread to keep up on, and you could post anything, not just weight stuff. All that little stuff you might want to mention, but isn't important enough for it's own thread.

This one is getting pretty long, so we could start an "April Chat Thread" and start fresh.

What do you think?
