Scale wasnt too bad this morning. 147.6 and i was 146 yesterday morning so only 1.6lbs today. That will come right off today and hopefully a little more!!!

Up 0.2lb after a FD!!!! so lowest ever UD weigh in!!!

I fly to Australia on Sunday - and Saturday will be an UD - so I am that I will see 23# before I go!

I fly to Dubai on a DD - so have ordered Low Cal food on the flight - my flight is at 4.30pm - so I'll not have eaten the rest of the day! Then I have a day in Dubai with friends - UD!!! Then fly on to Brisbane on another DD - it will feel long - but actually it will be short!! Then an UD when I arrive!!

So I am very pleased with my planning!!!!

A b" it fed up today :-( was 131 on sat, and am 134 today! After my usual maintainance rota (even a bit lower) too!
I KNOW Tom is due in 2 days, and that's probably why, but I still struggle seeing such a big gain. A part of me is saying that juddd is going to stop working, and that I am going to keep gaining.
Irrational, I know, but ed thinking, plus pmt does not make for logic. anyone else get like this this time of the month?

^^^^^Yes, me! I gained 7 lbs during TOM this month. It can't be real!! Always takes me a week or so for the scale to go back to normal after TOM. It's very frustrating!!!

Good morning!

I was up .2 this morning after my UD. I thought that was fantastic to only be up .2 and then today is a DD...this is the perfect plan for me. I think it was Pat or someone that said this plan works as long as you pay attention to your numbers (follow your calorie limits and you will lose)...that is what I intend to do. I have never felt as confident as I do right now with my eating. Last night I sure enjoyed my homemade bacon cheese burger....(all within my calories). The biggest thing I have learned so far is that yes I am allowed 2,100 calories on my UD, but you have to still pay attention to that number. There is no telling how many calories I was eating before I started this plan. You still cannot eat anything and everything you want with 2,100 calories...you have to plan it out! This is quite the learning experience for me! I am fine with 500 calories today because tomorrow is an UD...so exciting!

I have always been pretty active. This past November I walked a Half Marathon. Now I am into riding my bike. I also do weights...since my body is used to doing this, I am continuing my exercise routine hoping it doesn't make me stall.

DD (Down Day) Calories: 500
UD (Up Day) Calories: 2,128
MD (Mid Day) Calories: 1,200

DD Friday 1/20/12 262 (Starting Weight)
UD Saturday 1/21 258.6
MD Sunday 1/22 258

Barb, I feel just as you do, so confident that this will work for me forever. I am so happy, maintaining under my goal, day after day. 125 today and enjoying a DD (with a hangover).

Your exercise can only be a good thing I am sure it won't stall you. I have never held with the muscle/fat/water argument. You have to really be working your muscles to a very high degree to stall. We have an exercise thread on the JUDDD board....

I am not an expert, but you numbers look great to me.

Yesterday was my absolute best DD since starting JUDDD. I had coffee with 1/2 Tbsp. cream for breakfast, then nothing till about 1:00 p.m. and I just marveled all morning at how great I felt. I ended up the day using 333 of my 500 allotted calories and doing fine with it. The best part was being down 3 lbs. today after my 3-day weekend out of town, eating low carb.

I will say, though, that I'm happy today is an UD!

The biggest revelation of JUDDD for me is that eating makes me hungry!!!

I hit a new low on the scale! Wooo-Hoooo!

Yesterday I was 199.8 and today the scale went down 3 pounds so I'm at 196.8 after a good DD.

I have not been under 197 in many years!!!

December 22, 2011: 201.4

December 28, 2011: 201.6 +.2

January 4, 2012: 200.2 -1.4

January 8, 2012: 200 -1.6 total since day one.

January 25, 2012: 196.8 -4.6 total since day one (one month)

I am super determined today it's a down day and yesterday I only ate 1500 calories yippee still reading the book and it's great how many health benefits there are from eating this way. That was all I needed to read to know I will eat like this forever because it makes so much sense and is very doable (mostly!)

Congratulations to all you losers, lol.!

I was at my lowest weight of 142.6 on Saturday morning. Saturday was an UD and I kept the calories in check. Sunday, I wasn't very hungry, so I was able to do a MD in anticipation of a dinner invitation Monday evening. Normally, Monday is my DD to get me back on track of a weekend of FDs. Friends invited us to a Brazilian Steakhouse and it was amazing! I even had scalloped potatoes and pecan pie with ice cream, along with the great assortment of meats. I was up only 2.4 lbs and after my DD yesterday, I'm back to 143.0. I was very pleased with such a little bounce after all that yummy food.

Hi Jo, It looks like you are still well within your maintenance range, and only went up a few pounds due to water and other processes going on due to good ol' Tom. He's visiting me as well this week, lol.

If it's any consolation, I went up 5# overnight one day last week from not getting enough sleep + dehydration (and bloating at the same time?). All but a pound of it was gone by the next day. Our bodies do some whacky things with water and other fluids, depending on what time of the month, how we've been sleeping, if we've been ill, etc. but it knows what it's doing. You will be OK and JUDDD will keep working for you.

That's the spirit, Majella! You can do this! Like you, I will eat this way forever because of the health benefits, ease of maintenance, and no ban on any foods!

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

LOL. Wedding ring stays on, and so do glasses, or I wouldn't be able to read the scale. But everything else is off, and I make sure to potty first too.
