WWC I rarely eat junk-virtually no processed foods. I think you are right, though and will work very hard to keep the cals down. As a matter of fact, as of now-7:00pm, I have finished a nice meat loaf and brussels sprouts dinner, and am only at 1358. May try having a snack before bed so I won't be hungry in the morning-good idea?
Planning on only coffee w/FF halfnhalf in the morning, then a piece of chicken for lunch, dinner ditto. what do you think? Another party this weekend, though.....but it's on an UD, and I will keep the booze to a minimum if possible... Thanks, all for the help.

139# today.
I never used to maintain this low this consistently in my adult life unless it was due to a medication or stress or purposely *working* to do it. But now I can't seem to gain if I wanted to, lol. I mean I eat mostly FDs each week, so how can this be? (It's that old JUDDD magic, lol) Not bragging here, just amazed and hoping to encourage future maintainers too! ![]() |

Working on my UD numbers. I've actually gone over on a couple of them. Yesterday was better. I want to stay 1500-1600. DD today though. Might see if I can do 400 instead of 500, just because. LOL
So, can you tell when the sirt-1 gets turned on? I mean, do you feel any different? Just wondering. Sophie--it is totally inspiring, so please keep sharing. I am hoping to be there very soon. |

I am starting with: DD 500 UD 2,128 MD 1,200 DD Friday 1/20/12 262 (Starting Weight) UD Saturday 1/21 258.6 MD Sunday 1/22 258 DD Monday 1/23 258 UD Tuesday 1/24 255.6 Thanks everyone! Barb |

congrats to everyone on their losses and milestones.
I have ramped up my exercise and working with a trainer. going to try her diet she recommended but adjust it so that i can still JUDDD, it is primarily low carb and low salt. I plan on following it just to see what it can do as far as muscle definition etc but will allow myself one UD off of plan, because I know I wouldn't be able to do it long term. As of this morning I am at 190.2 which is a 1.2 increase from yesterday, but considering I had a very high UD and ate alot of yummy goodness I am ok with it. I know today's DD will take it right off.

Hi barb, good to see you here.
124 today after yesterday's good DD. Enjoying my UD, I don't count calories on UDs any more, so I should call them FDs I guess. Anyway, Zumba this morning, followed by a soya flat white and a bacon roll. Spring cleaning the kitchen this afternoon, 1/8 of a quiche and a banana. Just had a cup of tea and a cookie. Tonight I am preparing beef stroganoff with rice and green beans, a neighbour is joining us and we will be enjoying some nice wines and cheese too. |

After a seriously delicious UD yesterday the scale only went up .8 this morning. I'm considering this to be a good thing!
Now if I can have a great DD today I'm crossing my fingers for a good drop tomorrow. Need to get out of this 5 pound window or set point I'm in. Interesting that for the first few weeks the daily bounces were HUGE. Usually up and down 4 pounds. Sometimes even a 5 or 5.5 pound change in one day. This past week it has been less and less of a bounce. Sometimes only .2 or .8 but never more than 2 pounds. Yesterday: 198.8 after DD Today: 199.6 after UD

I trust that I will eat what my body needs as long as I lay off the carbs I don't think NOT counting cals on UDs will be an issue for me. Although if I stall then I certainly will.
And for everyone having 'weight,' issues may I make a suggestion? DOn't weigh yourself!!! lol Or maybe just once a week. |

The scale has not moved even 1 ounce in the last 3 days. I'm so close to my first goal, but I just can't get there. This is with 2 DDs and 1 UD and still absolutely NO movement. Grrr.
![]() I averaged weight loss over the last week and have lost 1.4 lbs. I've been averaging around 3 lbs./week, which I know is unrealistic long-term, but darn I was enjoying the honeymoon. I'm wondering if 250 is one of my "set-points." I usually get to this weight, then stall or quit or whatever. 3 days does not make a stall, and I'm nowhere near throwing in the towel, but I'd sure like to see 249. I think I'm beginning to remember why I don't usually weigh every day. ![]() I will be happy with my 1.4 lbs for the last week and trust in this WOE. I sure do love the plan and everyone here. Thanks for letting me vent.

I sooooooo agree with this! It's so easy to be in denial when I'm not weighing every day. But it's amazing how just stepping on that scale every morning and then writing down the number in my journal and on my weight chart keeps me on the right track. |

I think she meant the people who have been posting and are frustrated with the daily "bounces". Some people can get discouraged if they weigh after an UD and actuallly see the weight increase. For those people, it may be best to just weigh once a week after a DD.

Into another DD-so far, at 4:00, 248 cals.
A bit head achey, and planning on some coffee-high test-with FF halfnhalf. Am trying to stay close to my allotted amount-345-but if I have to I will go up a bit. I will weigh tomorrow and hope that the scale has gone back down-as of yesterday I was net UP .4 pound since my start on 1/13.... Hoping to stay on the straight and narrow, but another party this Friday. Luckily, it's an UD... |

Good evening everyone!
I love reading how wonderful everyone is doing. This woe it's so getting. Many job provided breakfast this morning and its always carbs. It was the first time I have ever been able to participate. I had half a cinnamon roll, a cream cheese kolache and a sausage kolache! They were awesome and didn't cause cravings and didn't make me crazy hungry. I didn't eat anything until about 1230. I'm loving this. Im a little scared to get on the scale in the morning but I will and then I will have wonderful DD. I love this woe! I love it!
