You guys are so incredibly sweet!! Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. I was planning on having an UD today but it turned into a DD, as I had an LC breakfast and its right around diner time and I'm feeling nauseous (ketosis?).

I'm absolutely not planning in staying LC for the rest of my life. I do like the Atkins woe BUT I like bread, desserts and fruits too much to give them up for life. I think JUDDD is what I want to end up doing for the rest of my life. I just need to get used to it and so does my body. I shouldn't let it get out of control. Cutting back carbs first ad then allowing them back in little by little sounds like the best thing to do for me.

I know you are going to do just fine. Sometimes it just takes a bit to feel out exactly how it will work the best for us as an individual, and I have no doubt you will find the most comfortable path for your own weight loss balanced with the foods you feel the healthiest and happiest on and want to include. Hang in there.

almost ready to jump into the next decade.

That is a total of 29 lbs lost on JUDDD in just under 15 weeks and a total of 39 lbs lost for me since mid september,

Yesterday I was able to go to the store and buy large pants and large tops (instead of xlarge and xxlarge) and bought a cute pair of size 14 jeans. I am pear shaped so lost all my weight on the top half but still working on that stubborn bottom half.

Ramped up my working out as per my trainer. 1 hour cardio a day split up into two workouts and strength training 2-3 times a week.

I am sore this morning from working with my trainer yesterday but after I finish my coffee I am heading off to the gym.

JUDDD works!!
So happy for you, Kris!!! You may very well be at your goal by summer when you can enjoy another new wardrobe of cute, cool Summer clothes! KUTGW!

Happy to say I'm back under 150 for the first time in a long time, and looks like JUDDD is working for me again, albeit slowly. I have a party to go to this afternoon. Glad it's an up day!

* I just had to jump in here and post (and I'm not much of a poster)! I started JUDD last Sunday (1/15) after doing Atkins for about a year and being stalled at 161 since October. I was just hoping to break the "barrier" and get things going again.

WOW am I I not only got below I61, today I'm down to 156

I'm staying LC (20 - 30 gr/day) because diabetes runs in my family and I don't want to go there. My DH (doing Atkins) says its just water weight, but I don't think so. Haven't changed the type of foods I eat at all, just doin' JUDD. I'm so glad I gave this a try! No wonder you JUDD BUDDs are the happiest people on earth

Look at that!!!!! Good for you! I agree that 5lbs of water weight would be unusual when you are eating the same foods. I'll bet doing the happy dance will help you continue to make strides.

I love reading happy stories like this! ^ So glad that JUDDD has helped you lose weight again after you were mostly stalled for the last quarter year or so. And all while allowing you to be able to eat at the low carb level you enjoy and prefer. Continued success! I know you will do well.

I love reading all of the wonderful stories of juddd happiness!
Sylvis I have had to add carbs slowly and I think I might be finally leveling out and my body adjusting. Im hoping anyway. I definitely agree with pat about not going back to strict low carb. You won't have to. Your body is just having to adjust since you haven't been eating carbs. I almost have up and Adam so glad I didn't. Im actually happy with what im eating and how im eating. It has been very freeing for me. Im axially able to eat what everyone else is eating. Granted, I don't eat the portions they do. My main portion is still a big salad but I will actually eat pasta, rice, fries, banana, oatmeal, popcorn! Omg! It's just been great. Even if I just maintain between 145 and 150 I think I have decided it would be with out to stick with this woe. Just hang in there and let your body adjust.

Am ecstatic to find that I am at my lowest weight still this morning - after a weird few days - 1800, 215, 1800, 2500 (which was supposed to be a DD - but I started my DD early on the 1800 day - averaged 1578 - which is about 800 cals more than I should have had over the past 4 days).

Today has to be an UD - but feel fine about it!!! as I am at my low! Bring on the bounce - I can beat you!!

After a pretty good MD yesterday with quite a few carbs i was only up .4lbs so i am 145 this morning. If i can start the week out under 150 i will be a happy camper. Last week i gained 6lbs over the weekend from adding extra carbs but all week i have slowly adding in more so hopefully my body will be happier this weekend and i wont have the huge water gain. Last week sat morning i was 144 then sun morning 146 and mon morning 150!!! This weekend is already being better. I was 144.6 sat morning and to see 145 exactly this morning wasnt too bad. I ate more carbs on yesterdays md than i did last on my MD so hopefully thats a good sign. Im gonna have my grilled cheese today maybe...lol
Love to see everone doing so great!!!

OK, this is absolutely unreal. I still don't believe it.

I am only into JUDDD for ONE month....of which one week of that was off-plan while I went on a cruise. During the ON-plan UD's, I didn't even track calories (but I was VERY good on DD's).

Some of you might remember that my goal is to get into my size-8 skinny jeans, with the ability to put them on - and take them off - without unzipping. These jeans have a very slight stretch to them, but nothing to get excited about. When I started, I wasn't able to get them up over my butt.

Next try - a week later - over the butt, but no way to make the waistline meet.

Next time, one week later: waistline meets, but no chance of it buttoning.

Today.....holy CRAP - they button AND zip! WHAT is going on here????

Now, to be sure, I couldn't possibly wear these jeans in public. But I can get them on! I am still dumbfounded....and....

This is just too much!

That is great to hear I have a pair of jeans I'm doing the same thing with except mine haven't budged. They don't fit any better today than they did when I started. I've only been doing this a little over 2 weeks though so there may be hope yet.

Maybe I posted in the wrong thread...oh well!

It's about weight management, but I don't weigh. So, I posted about the only way I know how to assess my progress. It was a little tricky to figure out where to put this!

Hope that's okay!

This is merely the magic of JUDDD in action. And, of course, the only reason we've deemed it *magic* is that is works so wonderfully well when other plans just don't.. didn't.. failed.. even had us gaining.. limited so much and gave little back.. etc. etc. etc.

If others truly had any concept of how amazingly well JUDDD works, they'd probably overwhelm this site! LOL And what is even more amazing is that after the weight loss happens, you really have to step lively to halt the weight loss before you've lost below where you want to be!

It's pretty fun, isn't it!

Day after day, Week after week, we have folks absolutely shocked and amazed and thrilled and blown away by how effective JUDDD is for weight loss, how easy it is for weight loss, and how fun it is to be eating so very well every other day, and still get this weight loss!

So be thinking ahead of what new clothes you're going to have to shop for, to fill your closet! If you follow the plan, I can't imagine any reason this won't work for you too.

Noelle and Georgene, woot to both of you! That is great!

I bounced today, but it was expected. Had an 1800 cal UD yesterday (my others have been 1400, 1500 and 1600 (seeing a trend here, lol). And it's ovulation time, which is always a bloated time. Not sweating it. I trust it will go away. Good DD in progress even with eating at MIL's for lunch.

You can make this as bread by greasing a loaf pan with coconut or olive oil and baking for 40-45 minutes.

Or make muffins (what I did), and bake 15-18 minutes (I got 18 muffins).

I calculated the nutrient info based on adding up all the ingredients and came up with (per muffin): Cal 140, Net Carbs 8, Protein 4, Fat 10.

just made this with noah.

with some tweaks.

i don't like doing the whole egg separating thing, so i just mixed everything together. lol!

for the flour, i used: 1 c almond flour, 1/2 c carbquick, 1/2 c oat flour

a little added sweetener, ezsweets

and slightly more baking powder

oh, and MCT (liquid coconut) oil instead of olive.

it's still baking.

Is there a happier thread anywhere on LCF? I don't think so!

Gharkness is disappearing....

And Noah is cooking with his Mom.

I don't think so, Cindy. JUDDD definitely seems to be the happiest Forum, and this thread is always an upbeat one here!
