Good luck! Have fun. If in doubt, you can just start JUDDDing on your low carb foods and then gradually add in a few new food choices each UD or each week.

Most definitely! I have to say you guys make it easy to want to friendly and supportive.. just what I need! I think after LCing for almost 2 years I am so ready for a change. My body is as well.. I keep gaining despite following my plan to a T so it's time for a change. and to be honest I am missing foods! I have my DD planned tomorrow.. making a cabbage soup recipe I found here on the Judd board..

Good Luck, Hon! You know, there are quite a few of us that LCed on plan to a T and also never lost weight, stopped losing weight, or even started gaining weight. I wonder why that happens?

You know to holler if you have any questions or problems, and especially to tell us all your brags as you lose. (Well, except for that initial water weight gain initially with the carb-up.. maybe. )

BTW, the very 1st DD is the hardest one, after that they all get so much easier...in fact I never thought the day would come when I actually can say "I like 600 calories a day"! Well, at least every other day! You'll do fine tomorrow!

I find it easier to shop since 1) I can eat the same thing the rest of my family eats on up days and 2) down days are so restricted that it is super fast to shop for

I think going forward this is my down day:
1 carton of egg whites, 2 slices of ham, 20g low fat mozzarella = 233 cals, 46g protein, easy!

I plan for two of those meals but today it's 8pm and I really couldn';t think of eating another omelette so that's my day, 233 cals! Crazy.

My first shopping trip was a "trip" let me tell you! 3 hours!! The first hour was loading my cart with all the junky, yucky stuff I hadn't eaten in years and the next 2 hours was putting all that stuff back after I woke up from my stupor and shopping for the good things I could now eat like lots of veggies, fruits and whole grain products I had missed doing LC. Now it's just easy to shop since I pretty much know what I like to eat on my DDs and how I like to eat on my UDs. You will see, it gets so easy after awhile!

YUP!!!! Why I came over to the "dark side" and have never looked back!!! You will do fine, I know your spirit and determination and that is 3/4 of what helps to make JUDDD works!

If it wasn't an egg white omelette I'm sure I'd eat again. But the thought of another egg white omelette right now is

Well that's good, it's not true hunger, it would have been boredom eating. If I were truly hungry I'd eat the egg whites!

Ok so far so good,

This morning I had hot tea with almond milk and 1tsp of non dairy creamer.. I actually found I didnt mind the almond milk at all and it's lower in calories than anything out there.

Tea 14.36 total including creamer and Almond milk.

Lunch : Egg drop soup with one egg and a salad with balsamic vinegar (no oil) for 151.5 Calories

Grand total today so far, 165.86 I have a digital scale I am weighing everything I eat.

I think I can do this!
