B #1: Venti Skinny Caramel Machiato from Starbucks
and Bacon, Gouda breakfast sandwich from Starbucks
B #2: soudough english muffin with 1/2 tbsp whipped butter and coffee with 4 tbsp fat free french vanilla creamer

breakfast #1 was before I went to the gym and breakfast #2 was what I ate after the gym, didn't want my stomach growling in church.

L: Chinese chicken salad

D: London broil with side of fresh steamed green beans

Still have a couple hundred calories so may go get some ice cream with the kids.

I am so envious of you! If the lovely foods you are enjoying there are at all reflected in the delicious things offered to us at our little local French restaurant here, you will thrive, delight, and grow slim.

(And I meant it when I said I was envious!)

6:45 p.m. hungry again.

Hickory Farms sea salt & olive oil artisan crackers topped with raw, grassfed pepper jack cheese.

I'm at my parents' place for the night, and their home is FILLED with sweets leftover from the holidays. I had a few mixed nuts with a sugar coating, about 5 Jelly Bellies, and an English toffee. The flavors are enjoyable, but I have to put a stop to it.

SWEETS are my downfall, the one kind of carb I have to watch or I will go crazy eating it and then regret it. I usually don't just eat "candy" like this, but I think the problem is I'm still hungry and trying to fill the space with all the available sweets. I won't allow myself to overindulge, even on FD. Not because of weight fears, but because of how it affects me otherwise (the metabolic stuff).

I think I'll get some water and see if I'm still hungry in a bit.

DD for me. And feel great about it.
B: coffee
L: Juiced beet, carrot and kale, small apple and pear wedge
D: Enjoyed making Dottie's chicken and celery which I made into a soup and added Miracle Rice and some kale, pickled jalapeno slices with a dash of hot sauce, plus a wedge of Laughing Cow cheese (200 CAL). Salad with Old Cape Cod Sesame Ginger (40 cal)

DH loved it! Didn't even know it was a DD dinner.
On point with cals. Thanks, Dottie.

Sounds wonderful. And I LOLed at the part about your DH not even realizing it was a DD dinner! That works, doesn't it.

Our big mid-morning breakfast held us over until this evening. For supper I've roasted a nice big beef roast, and put potatoes in to bake (I'll have about 1/2 of one.. they're pretty big) and lots of broccoli. Maybe an apple and cheddar cheese later if a snack seems in order.

UD for us -- for breakfast DH and I made individual 2 egg omlettes with spinach, tomatoes, green onions, Picante sauce, a dab of sour cream, bacon bits -- he had green peppers and I had cheese. WONDERFUL burst of flavor!!! Lunch was soup -- he had a rice cake and 2 Wasa crackers. Dinner will be halibut(!) w/parmesian crust, baked potato, spaghetti squash... and then we'll add up our calories and see what else we can have!! I should come in at about 1300 -- he should be about 1400 so he can have his glass of wine with dinner. :-)

That was also my DH! But I think he was really asking whether he was going to get fed really well, or whether it was going to be a *make do* day, and I'd be feeding him odds and ends.

DH does this too, except he calls them "on day" or "off day".

UD here:
B - 1 egg scrambled w/cheese, 1 slice bacon, 1 slice toast w/butter (240)
L - Fried chicken BLT, couple of fries, tortilla chips, and grapes (1048 )
D - small portion of leftover italian beef w/rice, mixed veggies (estimate around 423)

Total = 1711. Not too bad considering my gigantic lunch, still have a few calories left for the day.

You guys are cracking me up with what your DH says. My SO well ask me if it's an up day or a down day. He has the lingo down now that he knows what im doing. I kept it from him for a little while. He gets a little irritated with all my obsessing over my weight and my constant different diets im doing. Be thinks im beautiful like I am right now and doesn't want me anorexic again...lol and he is right. I was to skinny for a little while.
Anyway good UD today. Having a glass of wine right now. I ended up at about 1900 for today. A little bigger than I expected but hey by the website I should be eating 2200 calories on UDs! There is no way. Usually im about 1800 but weekends get nuts sometimes.

UD/FD and ate at a friend's house today for a party. She has what she calls an "Abundance Feast" around the 1st of the year. Filet Mignon, shrimp scampi with spaghetti, roasted potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, mixed salad, bread/butter, and all kinds of appies before hand! We drank wine and champagne, and toasted to an abundant year for us all!!

THEN it was desserts and homemade vanilla ice cream! I only had 2 slices of lowcal toast until 3 when we went to her house and then I ate like I was going to the gallows tomorrow! Have NO idea how many calories I ate and I don't care! I had a ball, we laughed until we wet ourselves, "discussed" until we had to agreed to disagree, poked fun at each other and just had the best time!!

The scale tomorrow will tell the tale but a good DD will take care of whatever that scale throws at me and the memories, laughs and great time will NEVER be forgotten!!

I just had another slice of the raw, grass-fed pepper jack cheese and another apple.

Going to bed.

Aren't our DH's, DF's and SO's just too sweet? You guys got me thinking about my various weight loss plans that my DH has patiently tried to understand over the years. God love him! He's now planning ahead on JUDDD, and working out whether it's an UD or DD for me before suggesting going out for the night
