Where did the cabbage recipes go?
Darn it - there was a thread on here, just a few days ago, that had lots of variations on sauteeing cabbage and laughing cow cheese with various ingredients for a hearty dd meal, and for all that is good and holy, I cannot find the darn thing now.
It was not the DD recipes...maybe a daily thread? I bought a nice little package of shredded cabbage at Fresh and Easy to use for this on my DD tomorrow, and now I am just frustrating myself looking for it. Anybody have the vaguest idea what I am talking about? ![]()

I posted this yesterday in the daily what are you eating thread...
Here's how I make my stir-fry: Chop up 2 strips of bacon (90 cal) and fry in a small pan. Add two cups of shredded bagged cabbage (20) and let that cook down. When it's pretty wilted, I add two laughing cow lite Swiss cheese wedges (70) and mash them in until they're combined. I add a Tbls of hwc (50) and a Tbls of parmesan cheese (20) and mix it all together. I also will sometimes add a few pinches of dried minced onion. I eat this topped with two Tbls of reduced fat sour cream (40). Since I substituted reduced fat sour cream for the regular sour cream I usually use, the total calories for tonight's stir-fry was actually 290 calories. I love eating nothing (basically) all day so I can have a yummy dinner that includes regular bacon and other yummies.

I made this today with chicken. It was great and filling. My 15 year old tried to eat all of it (dangerous move for him-it's a DD)

Here is mine. 3 cups cabbage slaw, 1 laughing cow, half a can of baby shrimp, 1 cup of mushrooms, diced jalapenos, minced garlic, pepper, salt, either soy sauce or chicken broth. I have laughing swiss, queso and garlic and herb. Im addicted to doing this.
