The thing is last time I checked Netrition was in Albany which is only 6 hours away from me, too bad! It's not worth dealing with the border crossing and all just to go get a pack of something, we have a low carb store in Canada that delivers as well, so any money I'd save (because Netrition has better prices) would be eaten up in gas money going there!

I know what you mean. Being in Texas, there's not much chance of me making a run across the Canadian border, but I buy my cyclamate mail-order from Canada. It's simply the best-tasting sugar substitute I have ever used. The shipping generally doubles the price of the product, so I buy it in large quantities, about once a year, and just bite the bullet and get it over with!

Regarding the glucomannan in Canada:
NOW Foods has a reasonable price on gluc, and the NOW Foods website says they have distributors in Canada. So you may be able to go to your local health food store and ask them to special order it for you, if they don't have it in stock. Thanks for the reminder about gluc pills! I have been totally grossed out by all my attempts to make pudding and/or cook with gluc, and sad that I spent $10 on something I'm not using, but I have empty capsules and a little capsule-filling thingamabob, so I'll make some up and start taking those! And to the OP: I actually switched my DDs & UDs a couple times...noticed I had a sort of natural hungry/not hungry pattern, and felt perhaps I had started JUDDD on the wrong day! So if I wake up not hungry at all, and have gone well over my DD calories the day before, I just turn this day into a better DD. Or I fast as long as I can, then have most of my DD calories at dinner. I don't know if you're flexible that way--work & family & exercise etc can make it better to plan ahead, and stick to that! PS: Oh, and there's this, for appetite suppression: The Peppermint Oil Experiment
