Going to try and save most of my cals for dinner. I have half of a shrimp and clam dish I make that's 400 calories and super-yummy. The rest will go on Greek yoghurt and a tangerine (I hope). |

Down day for me, and I'm doing it with protein since it fills me up much better than the soups I've had on my previous down days: Meal 1) 1 cup egg whites, ham, 20 grams of low fat/high protein cheese Meal 2) Same thing! Snack: All you can eat cucumber buffet! Maybe I'll be a rebel and toss in a pickle (well, that's still cucumber right!) Total: 501 calories if I eat 10 ounces of cucumber.

At 2:30 had leftover taco salad from last night. No tortilla chips.
That's my DD meal, and I will start FD again anytime after 5, but by the time I get hungry again, it will probably be at least 4 hours gone by. |

UD here:
B - bagel w/Tbsp peanut butter (310) L - Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, value fries, and small Minute Maid Light Lemonade (630) D - leftovers night, so small portions of various entrees - I have no idea what my calorie count is for this, but hope it came in around 700 I think tomorrow will be a challenge for me since it's my first DD on a weekend. We are usually out and about running around all day and eat lunch out, so we'll hopefully either go somewhere with good low calorie options, or I'll have the will power to wait until we get home.

I feel verrry satisfied but added a little bread to my dinner, so I'm probably at 700 cals. I still feel like 500 cals is the ideal, although I think I always go over, if only by a little. However, it does make me giggle that I'm thinking I overate on 700 cals when I compare it to the larrrrge # of cals I was eating before JUDDD

If you're out running around and can convince your cohorts to go to Subway or Wendy's, here are a couple of lifesavers I've found: Subway: Black forest ham or Turkey breast salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapenos (if you like them), green peppers, and onions with just vinegar for dressing is under 150 calories! Wendy's: A small chili with no added cheese or onions is 210 calories (large is 310) and if you like it spicy, the chili seasoning packets are 5 calories each. I'm sure there are plenty of other fast food options, but I usually stick to one of these if needed on a DD. Good luck!

Thank you for this! We ended up at Quiznos, and I improvised with 1/3 of a turkey, cheddar and mustard on flatbread. I think I did okay, but this excellent to know for future outings. |
