S: Coffee & a little light something - (maybe combined with lunch!)
D: out - so not sure - it's an early dinner - before we see a new show - sort of burlesque/cirque de soleil

Wallee 01-06-2012 04:49 AM

Alcestis 01-06-2012 05:11 AM

DD

Going to try and save most of my cals for dinner. I have half of a shrimp and clam dish I make that's 400 calories and super-yummy. The rest will go on Greek yoghurt and a tangerine (I hope).

KeirasMom 01-06-2012 05:21 AM

UD

B: Not sure yet, something fast and easy
L: Picking up from the Armenian place for the office, probably a lamb kabob and rice pilaf with bread and butter and salad! I sure love that place, and JUDDD!
D: Not sure yet, something on the fly as I'm taking my daughter shopping for roller skates for tomorrow!

Wine will be involved at some point. :hyst:

Mmm, in Quebec the baked beans are also a part of our traditional breakfast, usually maple baked beans, yum!

Down day for me, and I'm doing it with protein since it fills me up much better than the soups I've had on my previous down days:

Meal 1) 1 cup egg whites, ham, 20 grams of low fat/high protein cheese
Meal 2) Same thing!
Snack: All you can eat cucumber buffet! Maybe I'll be a rebel and toss in a pickle (well, that's still cucumber right!)

Total: 501 calories if I eat 10 ounces of cucumber.

Knittering 01-06-2012 06:10 AM

UD

Coffee w/hwc
Broccoli cheese soup with either saltines or a grilled cheese sandwich
Either pizza (if we go out) or grilled pork chops (if we stay in) and wine
Ice cream

janetsbreeze 01-06-2012 06:18 AM

DD for me -
B - Coffee, black
L - soup, greek yogurt
D - Cabbage and steakum stirfry!

:hyst: You crack me up, Hazel!

DD for me. Haven't decided if it will be a full JUDDD DD or a MUDDD partial DD though :) Since I'm still having what I think are sicky side-effects from upping the Metformin again, I don't think a DD will be too hard to manage since I don't feel like eating until later in the day.

Black coffee for now.

Wine2 01-06-2012 07:48 AM

DD today-

B: Black coffee, 2 egg beaters
L: Diet Coke, 3 egg beaters
S: Celery
D: Water, 4 egg beaters, homemade broth/veggie soup

laceylady 01-06-2012 08:09 AM

UD!!

B: Coffee, orange... still thinking about the rest
L: Chicken sandwich, yogurt, Spec K bar
D: Leftover tortellini from the last UD! MMMM!

I must go shopping and read labels again for easy low calorie snacks. DH is trying to do this WOE with me and he gets lots more cravings than I do. (He weighed this morning and after 4 days, lost 3 pounds... I'm still avoiding the scales!)

priori 01-06-2012 08:10 AM

My first DD, going well so far!

B- Egg beater/one white mushroom/3 small pieces of broc/laughing cow omelett, 1 slice low cal toast. 138

L- 1 c chicken broth + 1 c Lettuce with 1tbs low cal balsamic dressing 31

S- Probably the other c of chicken broth. 15

D- small portion chicken and sauteed broc. 180

364! So that leaves me some wiggle room if I am dying of starvation later. haha

Speck333 01-06-2012 11:09 AM

down day

The usual Friday menu:
B: coffee and cream; protein and vitamin shake (225 cals/5.5 net carbs)
L: chicken broth and veggie soup (48 cals/4.5 net carbs)
D: grilled tri-tip steak (lean), big romain salad, light dressing, a bit of A1 sauce (270 cals/6 net carbs)

Day's totals: 543 cals/16 net carbs

sophiethecat 01-06-2012 12:07 PM

At 2:30 had leftover taco salad from last night. No tortilla chips.

That's my DD meal, and I will start FD again anytime after 5, but by the time I get hungry again, it will probably be at least 4 hours gone by.

LightlyStarched 01-06-2012 03:35 PM

DD today as yesterday's DD became a MD-to-UD:

B: 1 egg, 2 T cream, instant coffee, splenda, ice and water blended to make an iced coffee drink. 180 cal.

itsmeshelly01 01-06-2012 04:37 PM

gluc pudding
100 cal popcorn
Shrimp, cabbage, laughing cow
Must-have sf jello later

KatEyez44 01-06-2012 05:14 PM

UD here:

B - bagel w/Tbsp peanut butter (310)
L - Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, value fries, and small Minute Maid Light Lemonade (630)
D - leftovers night, so small portions of various entrees - I have no idea what my calorie count is for this, but hope it came in around 700

I think tomorrow will be a challenge for me since it's my first DD on a weekend. We are usually out and about running around all day and eat lunch out, so we'll hopefully either go somewhere with good low calorie options, or I'll have the will power to wait until we get home.

Alcestis 01-06-2012 05:49 PM

I feel verrry satisfied but added a little bread to my dinner, so I'm probably at 700 cals. I still feel like 500 cals is the ideal, although I think I always go over, if only by a little. However, it does make me giggle that I'm thinking I overate on 700 cals when I compare it to the larrrrge # of cals I was eating before JUDDD

cherryhair 01-06-2012 05:55 PM

DD
Black Coffee (0)
Skinny pop popcorn 2 cups (78 cal)
Starbucks Oatmeal (140)
LC Cabbage (190)
Candy Cane (50) made a mistake and found a leftover one couldn't resist
Swiss Miss HC (25)

rubidoux 01-06-2012 06:11 PM

Today's an up day for me.

lunch -- hamburger w/ refried beans, cheese, sc, salsa -- 620
dinner -- large portion of ricotta with splenda and cinnamon -- 720
snack -- will have about 400 cals left, but not sure

sophiethecat 01-06-2012 07:01 PM

Had real whipped cream on blueberries, blackberries & strawberries about 6:30.

Just now at 10 p.m. had a Wendy's jr. bacon cheeseburger and small fries. My first fast food in a while now.

Crystal,
If you're out running around and can convince your cohorts to go to Subway or Wendy's, here are a couple of lifesavers I've found:

Subway: Black forest ham or Turkey breast salad with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, jalapenos (if you like them), green peppers, and onions with just vinegar for dressing is under 150 calories!

Wendy's: A small chili with no added cheese or onions is 210 calories (large is 310) and if you like it spicy, the chili seasoning packets are 5 calories each.

I'm sure there are plenty of other fast food options, but I usually stick to one of these if needed on a DD. Good luck!

MLE 01-07-2012 01:43 AM

High UD here (and not a very good one, nutritionally speaking :annoyed:):

B: Waffles & Nutella, Coffee, CoffeeMate
S: Apple, LC cheese
L: McD's Beef Wrap, Deluxe Potatoes, Coke Zero
D: Haystacks

Calories: 2,337 (wowza)

At least I got about an hour of walking in today...

Thank you for this! We ended up at Quiznos, and I improvised with 1/3 of a turkey, cheddar and mustard on flatbread. I think I did okay, but this excellent to know for future outings.
