I know some people do that, and put a MD into the weekend. I thought about it myself, but decided to do a clean induction with two complete weeks of UD/DD rotation before I made any tweaks. I have found that I do very well with the every other day rotation and now have no desire to tweak it.
As a matter of fact, I just got home from 4 days travelling and managed to stay under 500 on both DDs and under my 2300 UD limit. DH is also following JUDDD and did just as well! The main point is that you and DH need to do what works for you and what you can do long-term. I would suggest doing the first two weeks clean if you're able to. If not, JUDDD is very forgiving from what I hear. I'm only on week 4. ![]()

You could easily do M-W-F as Down Days every week. Many find a fixed schedule works out the best for them.
So in addition to those three Down Days, you would also have three Up Days and a single Medium Day each week. That MD would be one of your weekend days, and you get to decide whether that works best for you folks on Saturday or on Sunday. Good luck with JUDDD! |
