just looked i have lots of befores but not alot of afters. my avatar is an after but it is just my face. but you can see alot of my weight loss in my face.

ok and just because I want to be accountable and never look the way i did in this picture again. here is a full body shot (shudder). i never would have taken this picture or allowed it, but it was my high school reunion this past summer and this was someone else who posted it.



i am going to try to see if i can get a full body shot now. i sort of see my weight loss, but maybe seeing a picture will show me more??

I don't have that many "Befores" when I was 30+ pounds overweight from late fall/winter 2009 through June 2010, (either deleted them out of shame or cropped my body out of them) BUT I have a few and I will work on putting them up sometime today.

I will need to take pics for the "After" shot though, cause I don't have any full length recent pics that show it well.

I ran into the notes I was keeping over the summer and I have to tell you about my weight & measurements!

I started measuring myself when I started Callanetics, which was on Aug. 9, 2010. At that point, I'd been walking for exercise and had already lost at least 11# from Lower Carb starting late June and then switching to Low Carb by end of July.

So here is August 4:

WEIGHT: 158#
waist: 32"
bust: 42"
hips: 43"
thighs (together): 40"

Sept. 14.

WEIGHT: 153#
waist: 29"
bust: 37"
hips: 41"
thighs: 37"

I owe the inches lost to Callanetics!

I lost about 3 more pounds while on Low Carb between Sept. 14 and Oct. 12, reaching 150#.

I started JUDDD on October 12.

I exercised only one other time after September.

Reached goal weight (145#) on Oct. 31 (would have been there a week earlier, but I started overdoing my calories by hundreds and went back up the scale) *face palm*.

I measured on Nov. 16:

WEIGHT: 144# (in maintenance)
waist: 28-1/2"
bust: 37"
hips: 39-1/2"
thighs: 36-1/2"

Today, I decided to measure again. No exercise for months, until just yesterday when I started again with Callanetics.

WEIGHT: 140#
waist: 28"
bust: 37"
hips: 39"
thighs: 36"

Started JUDDD 10/12/11 after LC.
MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

"BEFORE" - July 2011, had already lost at least 5# from highest weight when this was taken. I started lowering carbs and walking a couple weeks before. Around 165# in this pic. (had been up to at least 170# before I started doing anything about it). I gained the weight from my usual low to mid-140s from Fall 2010 to June 2011. This is the most I'd ever weighed in my life.




"DURING" - Mid September 2011. About a month before I went from a strict LC diet to moderate carb and JUDDD. Weight is about 151#. It took me about another 3 - 4 weeks to lose one pound on LC. The better shape is owed to Callanetics too!



"KINDA AFTER" - Because I'm nowhere near finished toning up! This was taken earlier today, January 4, 2012. I hadn't exercised in about 3 months, and just started back in yesterday with Callanetics. Weight is 140#. Been JUDDDing (and doing variations) for almost 2-1/2 months now. Reached goal weight back on Halloween (goal weight was 145#). Maintaining ever since, though I dropped more weight unexpectedly around Christmas from all the mixed-up eating & fasting (JUDDD, MUDDD, IF, FDs, etc. and have recently gone to lower-moderate carb a lot of the time than at first on JUDDD).



Oh, and I meant to say I started Callanetics & diet in August 2011, not '10!

Sophie, you're looking great! Impressive results! We've compared notes on our similar height and weight, but where you have a nice bust, I'm carrying the extra weight in my "menopause middle", lol. I've always been a pear shape, but I've been thrilled to see my saddlebags go away. It's interesting how our shapes can change over the years, and we can be distributed differently than before. I'm delighted to not have so much junk in my trunk, but sorry I have a muffin top, lol.

Okay, I found only ONE picture of myself before. I hate having my picture taken, or at least I used to. I was overweight for so long.
The before is at DH's police academy graduation 10 years ago (why did the photographer have him place his hand there? Geesh..). I was probably 180 pounds then, and a size 12-14. The after is today, at 142, size 6-8 (those size 8 jeans are actually getting baggy ).
Hopefully these post. I have never posted pictures before.

I took what I feel is a little better "After" pic today since I feel less bloated, and am actually down to 138#.

BEFORE - July 2011, around 165#



AFTER - January 5, 2012 (been maintaining 145# goal weight since mid-Nov after LC and then JUDDD) Started losing again around Christmas. 138# today.



I'm still in need of toning up, but as I said, I hadn't exercised in about 3 months, and I just started back with one workout on Tues.

I have went from about 180 (too scared to weigh!) to 133. The first lot of weight was lost by basically eating very little...I then switched to atkins, and maintained for 6 months, which was very frustrating!
I came to juddd at the start of september last year, and lost the last 14 lbs in 8 weeks, and have been maintaining for 2 months.
The first photos show me in a Uk 16/US 12, the second ones show me now, in a UK 10-12/ US 6-8
