Up day here too.

B - broccoli casserole, scrambled eggs & potatoes with salasa
L- DH asked for nachos for watching football. I'll probably skip the chips and just have taco salad w/ ground beef, guacamole, green onions, cheese & salsa.
D - pork chop, butternut squash & sauteed kale

It's an up day.....but I don't feel like I need to feed any sweet craving or anything, so that is good.

Much needed DD here.

I really get to where i look forward to them.

I made some gluc pudding this morning for later. Used 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk, 1T cocoa, 1t chocolate extract, 1t vanilla extract, some white chocolate sf torani syrup and 1t gluc. Put it all in my bullet and blended like crazy. It is already nice a thick and tastes so good. I will let it chill and eat that later for lunch for about 35 calories.
Breakfast will be 100 calorie packet of instant oatmeal with walden farms syrup
Ill snack on zucchini, baby carrots and celery thru the day and then have cabbage, laughing cow and chicken for dinner.
I will be under 500 for the day.

UD today.

I'm not sure what I'm eating today...need to visit the fridge and make a plan. I do know that I'll be starting with a coffee w/ hwc and flavored creamer. My goal is 1850-1900 calories and to avoid most of the junk that remains in my house.

Will update later...

I've been away from here for far too long!! Glad to be back and back on track. Nothing but coffee w/some nut cream (which isn't very good) for me so far, I'm simply not hungry because I've eaten so much lately! Not sure about most of my food today but will be having cabbage and laughing cow for dinner.

DD as I overindulged this holiday season! Haven't even gotten on the scale!

So far I've had a diet soda. Will have some poke (tuna) later, I think.

Now that the Holiday season is completely over, which for us starts at Thanksgiving and runs through New Year's Day, I'm back to JUDDDing at a bit tighter rein. So I'm joining those of you doing a DD today. So far just hot tea.

I'll switch to glasses of iced tea this afternoon, and then eat about 500 calories combined for supper and an evening snack.. and I don't even know what foods I'm going to have. Just relaxing into this DD so much right now and really enjoying it.

Gracie.. I'm going to try my hand at your cookies one of these days. I had to look them up on Google to even find out what a pizzelle was. But if it's a cookie, I'm in!

Okay, complete revamp of today's plan.

Coffee w/cream
Leftover pork w/mango chutney
Mozzarella sticks w/marinara sauce, salad
Probably a little cheese with crackers, an apple, some ice cream

UD for me, too:

B: Coffee w/ SF Vanilla Caramel CoffeeMate, Multigrain toast w/ Nutella
L: Honey curry chicken (leg quarter), mixed veggies and long-grain rice (left-overs from the dinner I made for family last night)
D: Pasta w/ bolognaise sauce, milk, cookies

1793 cals
The JUDDD site calculator states I should have over 1900 calories on up days but I cannot simply eat that much! I am stuffed! :/
From what I've seen on here and read there, it is the DD calories that count most - RIGHT??

Not in my experience. It wasn't until I started eating up to my limit (or over it) on UDs that I started losing.
But at your weight, 1790 should be fine unless you're exercising a lot.

Had a cup of Progresso lite about 3 p.m. Been sleeping from 3 til 5 - feeling a little better, thank goodness.

Thanks for you response, Michelle!
I was just over at another thread discussing DD/UD numbers and read just that - that pushing the ceiling is the way to go. I am exercising (resistance training/cardio) about 3 days a week. I think that is why the JUDDD calculator gave me the high UD number. On my next UD I will try to get closer to that target, stick to it for the two weeks and see how it goes.

Still hoping to feel better.

Even though part of me didn't want to eat, I knew I needed a substantial meal in my belly, so I'm having a salad made of lettuce, 3 sliced black olives, 1/4 c. canned salmon, 1 T. evoo, dash of vinegar, salt & pepper, 1 slice provolone cheese diced up, some tomato.

My total calories for the day will be between 600 - 700.

I decided to just go with one large meal today, so fasted until about 6:30, and have just finished my approx. 600 calories. An enormous salad of iceberg and romaine lettuces, baby spinach, shredded red cabbage and carrot with thick blue cheese dressing, and a 1/12 slice of a small caramel pecan silk supreme pie.

I'm pretty full, so nothing more until tomorrow.. except more ice water.
