Ok JUDDD BUDDS, what is your first goal of 2012?

It doesn't have to be weight loss related.
I'm going to clean 1 room a day, top to bottom and throw stuff away!
I'm not a hoarder ( ) but I need to de-clutter my home and that makes me more focused on diet and exercise!

First weight-related goal is to get back into the 160's!

First non-weight related goal is to get all this Christmas decoration junk outta here. (Not as easy as it sounds because my four-year-old with autism strongly objects. We have to be creative in clearing it out but it's all going to be gone by the end of the week at the latest.)

Oh forgot to mention I can't start this until Tuesday when DH goes back to work.
With both of them home they'll either: try to help and be in the way or not help and be in the way.
Last time DH tried to "help" me, it ended with him, steel wool and my non-stick pans. Needless to say I like my new cookware and he knows better than to try and "help" without specific instruction any more.

I've already started with my non-weight related goal of getting rid of clutter. I have 4 kids at home and since they have been out for Christmas break they have straightened out there dresser drawers and gotten rid a of a lot of clothes that were either too small or they didn't wear anymore.

I did the same for myself. My husband got in on it and gave me a lot of suits he didn't want anymore. I then cleaned out my closet. At the end I had 10 bags of clothes to donate to the Salvation Army. The good news is that I did most of the work on my DD, which kept me busy but the best part is I felt great about giving to others.

This must have been contagious for me because I went to the kitchen and cleaned out all of my cabinet, junk drawers, etc.... I feel I'm starting the New Year off right, now to get those last 14 pounds off. However, with all the season's festivities, I'm only up 1 pound from siggy.

Declutter both myself (lose 25-30 lbs) and declutter the house. I started yesterday with going through my closet and ended up with three bags of clothes to give away. I found a decluttering calendar that I am going to follow:

My only goal is to stick to the JUDDDD plan. I'm not making a weight loss goal, as for me, that way lies frustration. I will be happy if I just manage to do this for the next 30 days. I am on day 3 (2nd DD) and happy thus far!

I would really, really like to do more of my artsy stuff. I used to sew a ton and I'd love to make curtains and some nice pillows for the couch. Also, I'm doing some mosaics for the wall that stalled out terribly about six weeks ago. One of them is 85% done, at least. Right now our walls are fairly barren and I've got all kinds of ideas about how to fill them up, but I don't seem to progress past the idea, or sometimes the purchasing of supplies phase.

And also, need to use up some of those already purchased supplies!

I have two:

On DD's, to get my mind off how my body may be feeling that day, I will clean my apt (i've been neglecting it...). Yes, cleaning 3x a week.

And to do the 30 day shred 5 days a week (first thing in the morning). I may go crazy, but i'll be fit

Personal goals are to just focus on taking care of myself more. Get back to making exercise a habit, keep stress under control and get plenty of sleep, (oh and drink more water)
Also finally lose all of my weight. originally I had a goal of 140-145 but I think I am just going to pants size 8/10.

Finances - started doing Dave Ramsey money management to get our finances in control and pay off debt, want to stick with it.

Spiritually - spend more personal time with God.

Family - try to not let lifes busyness get in the way of spending quality time with my kids.

Marriage - work on more date nights and try to reconnect with hubby.

I want to get the Christmas decorations put away by the end of the week. We don't put very many up in recent years - the main thing is the tree. And I always hate taking it down at first because I love it so much. I get used to having that big, beautiful night light in my front room!

I want to get some paperwork done that has been put aside for too long, and the same with other projects on the computer.

I want to clean and organize one thing per day during the weekdays - be it one drawer, cabinet, corner of a room, etc. All the rooms *look* fine, but 1) they all have a minimum of one cabinet/drawer/closet that needs cleaned out and organized and 2) our bedroom has become a catch-all, due to lack of storage space in the house, and it's stifling to spend any time in there other than to sleep. It should be a place of refuge, not a place I dread walking into!

I want to get back into exercise - Callanetics, some weights, and later on, walking when the weather gets springish. I am not worried about starting exercise again right away, because I know I will get into it at least by March if not sooner. But I should change my attitude about it too, and look at it like something for my health instead of just toning up to look my best by shorts season. I know I would not only look better, but feel better too physically and mentally, if I were to get back into a workout.

I have a few other personal goals and self-improvements in mind, but I think that's all I have to put down here for now.

So, so, so relateable!

My first weight related goal of 2012 is to get back to 145, where I was after I lost 5 pounds with JUDDD back in November. I'm also working on making my eating and lifestyle more Primal (as in Mark Sisson's Primal Blueprint).

Cleaning/decluttering wise, I'm already doing really good. I spent 3 hours purging my 8 year old's room last week, I finally took a deep breath and removed all the too big/too small/too out of fashion clothes from my closet on New Year's Eve, and I packed up all the Christmas decorations and hauled the dead tree out to the curb yesterday. And I was on track with my cleaning schedule all week, even through Christmas and with my parents here all week.

Have you looked into Flylady or House Honcho? If not, check them out. Flylady helps me a great deal.

I'm bad at that, too. I feel like the worst mom. My parents were here for a week and played with the kids everyday. They left early this morning, before the kids were up. My son (age 6) lamented that now that they were gone, it was going to be the most boring week ever.

Yes, I have looked at both of those. They both have their points, but just aren't for me. I do have something that does work for me, but I let my house get into such a bad state that I can't feasibly do it right now

I know my kids are not going to be happy about going to school this week. They've spent most of their vacation at Grandma's.

Social - to practice my French every day and to smile at at least one stranger at every location throughout my day.

I really like to monitor my calories into ****** for a whole month. I want to have a good idea what my ceiling calories are to loose each month. I do not care if it takes a while as long as I am moving downward and enjoying my food choices without any guilt.

I want to get the family to move more and make better food choices!

I want to exercise at least 3 times a week with tapes or walking. NO pressure just do it and make it a priority.

Many main goal is to love myself. I have a horrible self image and just learning to accept myself some be happy with me and look at what I do have and appreciate that everyday.
next thing is to stick to juddd. I am so bad about changing things all the time, being obsessive and getting crazy because it's not writing as fast as I want it to and changing things up and that not writing either. Im tired of all of that. Im toured of obsessing all the time annoy many weight, exercise, many body. I just want to stick to this. I know this woe is something that I can do to finally be able to stop obsessing if I will just stick to it!
