It's Sunday! what are you eating today?

Happy New Year :)
DD
B: coffee w/almond milk
D: pork sausage(3oz), black eyed peas(1/2 cup), cabbage(lots lol)
S: pouch of tuna in lettuce w/bragg's vinegar

A few over 500 cals, but I wanted to keep with New Years tradition on the food.

KeirasMom 01-01-2012 07:01 AM

DD, but traveling, so I'm going to try to stay between 500 and 800 (20-35%)

B: Egg whites with vegetarian chicken scallopini (165)
L: On the road, probably a fast food side salad. I'm bringing individual tuna and salmon cups, rice cakes, and whatever other non-perishable low cal options I can come up with.
D: See lunch.

Happy New Year everyone!

belfrybat 01-01-2012 07:37 AM

Officially a DD but we always have Bloody Marys and Pizza with friends at lunchtime to help us recover from the excesses of the night before :o

So I have had 5 slices of a smallish pizza and 2 BMs, just tea and water from now on and possibly some Shirtake noodles for supper.

123.8 this morning.

nikki 01-01-2012 09:42 AM

I did the whole30 paleo challenge and it was tough: no sweeteners or dairy at all was the hardest part.
If you stick with lean protein and lots of veggies on DD's, it's doable for paleo since you can have dairy on primal:)
Good luck!

dasiey 01-01-2012 11:08 AM

Thanks Dottie

I had a big UD yesterday, but surprisingly, my weight was the same as 2 days ago.

Today for breakfast I had shrimp & egg salad. Basically 1 sliced hb egg, topped with shrimp salad (1.5 oz bay shrimp, 1/2 T mayo & fresh dill). 200 cals. I've just started this JUDDDD thing, so I'm still working out my plans, but as of now, I'm thinking down days will be 3 200 calorie meals. That way I can still cook for my family and just eat a mini portion of what I make them. I am still planning on being mostly low carb, as I just get too hungry and depressed when I eat grains and sugar. It will be nice though to be able to fit in a carby meal occasionally without blowing my whole woe.

I hope to be here for awhile. This seems like a nice group.

itsmeshelly01 01-01-2012 11:53 AM

UD here.. was gonna do MD but I know I won't. I ended up drinking a whole bottle of wine last night! Im really dehydrated today. I went to the gym and barely broke a sweat... lol I'll be drinking tons of water with cranberry juice and lemon.

Breakfast today was bacon and eggs
Lunch was my leftover wings from last night and some veggies from my leftover veggie tray
Im going out to dinner tonight so I don't know yet
I'll be snacking on veggies all day from that veggie tray. Im already looking forward to my DD tomorrow.

MLE 01-01-2012 12:01 PM

Hi!:hiya: Newbie here...DD for me, too (first, actually).

B: 16oz. Coffee w/SF CoffeeMate
L: 2c. Beef boullion, mixed lettuce greens, 1T balsamic vinegar
D: 2c. Beef boullion, 2 Wasa crackers, 1 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 c. tuna, med. tomato

471 cal., 40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs (couldn't believe it came out perfectly, either)

Dottie 01-01-2012 12:03 PM

:welcome: new peeps!

julietcc 01-01-2012 12:09 PM

DD today after 2 Up Days of 1944 and 1369 calories. The plan:

B: Coffee with SF creamer - 65
L: Tofu Shiritaki noodles with homemade chicken veggie soup -155
D: 3 cups cabbage, 2 laughing cows, 1 can of Kirkland chicken - 320

=540

Has anyone had "tofu shiritaki noodles"? Sprouts didn't have the regular ones with no calories.

Knittering 01-01-2012 12:44 PM

DD today after three UDs. But this was the last of the traveling/parties/etc. for quite awhile, yay!

Skinny late

More coffee and/or broth
Cabbage/chicken/LC cheese
Oat bran muffin if needed

I'm happy about this too! My last hurrah for awhile was last night and I enjoyed rench fries and fried zucchini :D JUDDD will just be so much easier without so many parties!

Alcestis 01-01-2012 01:48 PM

DD today, but it might turn into a MD as we're off to dinner at my MIL's. I'm not stressing over it too much though, because the holidays are finally over and I feel I was pretty restrained the rest of the time.

B: coffee, 1 egg scrambled w/smidge of cream cheese (100)
L: 1/2 tortilla, smear of salsa, 1 laughing cow, 1 tangerine (170)

I suspect I'll eat more than 230 calories tonight!

Oh, I found a recipe book full of 100 calorie recipes when I was browsing in the book store. Now I can't wait for my DDs so I can try them out :jumpjoy:

MintQ8 01-01-2012 01:48 PM

Had soup and some 4 crab sticks for dinner - 187 calories.

Will hold off as long as possible tomorrow before eating!

(total for today is 916 cals so it could be considered a MD!)

sazzie 01-01-2012 02:01 PM

A very welcomed DD for me today.

These are the only ones I've had. 40 cals for the package, right? I rinsed well and the fried them in a tiny bit of coconut oil, mixed in some angelhair cabbage and some of those big sprouts you see in chinese noodle dishes, and then poured some soy sauce/white rice vinegar/splenda over it, all while still cooking. Then tossed that with juice from 1/2 lime mixed w/ little more splenda and a ton of cilantro. It was so yummy! But I can't vouch for how they'd be w/ tomato sauce or something.

So I'm not sure what I'm having. It's 1:30 and I've only had diet coke so far. It'll probably include:

-- spiral ham w/ sf cherry pie filling
-- collard greens
-- either shiritaki noodles as above or homemade veg soup (noodles are yummier, soup more filling, hmmmmm?)

sophiethecat 01-01-2012 02:37 PM

Also logging a small piece of cherry pie and coffee.

I got on here to edit my day, and found I couldn't. Ended up going out to eat after church. So luncn ended up being salsa and chips plus 2 chalupas with guacamole, I'll forgo the beef stew and just have the lavish bread, cheese and wine tonight.

Calories should be about the same as projected, but carbs will be higher.

Kissa 01-01-2012 04:02 PM

You can only edit for about an hour after you post.

kel7298 01-01-2012 04:29 PM

MD here. Next Sat is the last holiday dinner we have...I can finally get back to normal and not juggle these days.

LightlyStarched 01-01-2012 04:42 PM

I forgot to add the rest of my day.

B - 200 cal shrimp/egg salad
L - Italian sausage, 2 T broccoli casserole
D - 200 cal of Steak (3 oz)

I had a great day today! Today was much easier than my first DD. Probably because I ate eleventy billion calories yesterday, lol.

itsmeshelly01 01-01-2012 06:51 PM

Went to dinner at chili's and had half a real of baby back ribs in the Memphis rub seasoning with a side salad and ranch. Appetizer of their fried onion strings and jalapeno stack.
sooner was about 700 calories. Im so full and can't wait for my DD, but dang it was good. I ended up about 1800 calories today.
