Hey Fozzie. That's awful you are getting such big fluctuations, but I was told they happen sometimes even after good days. What does your ****** goal chart look like? is it generally in the down direction or fluttering around a stable weight?

Did you have a lot of shiritaki or water based foods on DD, maybe you are retaining water or BM?

Oh Wow, That is troubling. the difference from your start weight months ago and now is only about 5-6 pounds. Considering, though, you've had some impressive ups and Awesome downs... Have you figured out what the Ups correlate to? and what you were doing consistently when the Downs happened?

Fozzie - I am sorry that you are not pleased with your losses. I have come to terms with myself and I am happy or satisified with any loss or even no gain. But that took a long time coming. I wanted it off and NOW.

All of us react differently to foods and combinations of foods. I was one of those that gained weight (and quickly) following EFGT closely. It seems I can eat carbs with lowfat or no carbs and highfat but not carbs with high fat. I can maintain on Atkins but not lose unless I follow the LF LC version.

I encourage you to keep on trying. losing quickly may not always be the best way. Slow and steady might win out.

Metqa when I was losing consistantly I was doing HCG or HCG with EFGT meals. The ups were mostly during transistion between WoE plans and during the holidays. EFGT alone was just maintaining and JUDDD is about the same unless I'm really suffering and then minimal results. DDs I'm almost always ravenous. I lost around 90lbs the first 6 or 7 months and then just yoyoed between 85 an 95lbs. No positive down trends. I have 1 vial of HCG in the fridge but after that I can't justify the expense even at about a buck a day (for bulk purchase of supplies) (I'm also afraid I might not be able to be as tough in my habits as I was previously EFGT and JUDDD have spoiled my self control). That's why after my DD soup is gone I thought I'd try EFGT with around 1% carbs. I pay almost as much for frozen veggies as I do for pork butt so no hardship to stop the veggies all together.

I see. Yeah, It can get expensive Ongoing...
I'm actually getting my toughness back, and I'm surprised at what I can get away with, in terms of fat, on HCG, thanks to you.

I can't bring myself to eat lowfat again. I thing I sucked it up at first cause I thought it was VITAL and I convinced my body it could do it, and so I could, but knowing that I can eat fat, I just caved in the other day. Yes I do like my carbs, but if I had to restrict, it's so much easier to restrict the carbs and eat the fat than the other way around.

If I could eat unlimited sushi for my round I'd be set cause that is low fat and filling but WAY high in carbs. Maybe I'll try a low fat sushi day as a test. haha!

Maybe once you reign yourself in with a strict session of EFGT you could pull out that last vial for some serious losses, Kinda as a reward for your hardwork and discipline on EFGT for a certain amount of time or certain number of pounds loss...

That might work. When I see the consistant losses it's easy to stay strong. I love rice I love sashimi but don't really care for sushi....strange. I'm almost tempted to start HCG tommorrow it's a Dreaded DD anyway and I have lots of noodles made. 10 oz of pork with noodles broken up into 5 or 6 meals is just about 500 cals along with coffee and cream i could do it... 1 23 day round.

I'm NOT A HAPPY CAMPER. Good UD GREAT DD and I'm up half a pound. I'm going to mix today and start HCG with EFGT Tues. I may come back to JUDDD but if I can only maintain on JUDDD than EFGT is better for me.

Thank You!!! I'm going to try to do strict under 500 cals a day. 8oz. of pork split into 5 or 6 meals fleshed out with noodles or just glu powder with chicken boullion and spices.

Hi Steve, I just finished up two rounds of HCG with great success. I was wondering if you have tried to follow the original protocol in Dr. Simeons Pounds and Inches? Based on the HCG forums I have participated in, when people deviate from that protocol they start having problems with weight loss and especially maintenance afterwards. It is also critical to follow the VLCD with 3 weeks of no sugar, no starch and then gradually add them back in. You may have already considered all this but I thought I would ask.

Carol

I haven't been on HCG in over 4 months. I've had no trouble maintaining on either JUDDD or EFGT. I generally don't do many carbs have always felt better on LC even if I like some like brown rice, lasagne ect. Haven't had sugar in years.

Fozzie is an HCG veteran. He's even done a round with higher calories and EFGT and lost as much as original protocol.

It seems the problem isn't losing weight on protocol, he was trying to lose weight with JUDDD and it wasn't working for him, so he's going back to HCG which has worked for him in the past for reduction.
