I like that kind too. My DH's favorite is dark chocolate cake with vanilla frosting. But there is hardly ever any *bad* cake... some are just better than others.

I've been disappointed in my progress.......I'm still doing JUDDD but the bouncing is killing me DDs are difficult. This is the toughest WoE I've attempted. I'm settling into a DD soup UD pork and veggies routine and will give it another month after that if I still feel this way it's EFGT at least I'm comfortable on that even if I'm not losing.

I'm sorry it's such a pain. I wonder what could be done to make it less stressful. At least from the food and satiety side of it...the progress part....hopefully that will come along...you've done good to start.

Hmm, I thought ( actually I just assumed) that you were doing EFGT on Up Days...

I'm attempting to keep at least the EFGT Fat ratio for Down Days, seems a bit more satisfying at least it was yesterday and today ... Maybe your Down Days should have more fat? You still using Shiritaki?

I do noodles in garbage soup it's really good! Meat and noodles sometimes. DDs don't allow much fat before you run out of calories. I'm trying for more volume the soup has a pork drippings base so helps with satiety. I've been trying to do EFGT on UDs but stuff keeps getting in the way......cake, garlic bread, spaghetti......that kind of stuff....you know how it is. I'm finally getting back to sanity.

Oooi! I totally hear you on Up Days Getting away from ya! I kept my weight stable and actually moving downward on JUDDD for about 3 weeks till Thanksgiving, then still after that till Christmas even. But tween Xmas nd New Year it broke down cause everyone was having parties and every one wanted you to be there and this special food they cooked just for party, I could never find a good down day and then I'm back up. It's so hard to start back once you are eating UD everyday .

Y'know how I started to get the sanity back? Seriously, I added Ghee to almost EVERYTHING I ate. Bread? Dipped in Ghee. Noodles? drizzled with ghee. Ice cream? Ghee magic shell. Apple Pie? Ghee poured over the top. My friends thought I was Mad Crazy and said I'd gain a lot of weight, but My weight stayed the same through all of that. It was after I ran out of ghee and quit adding it to my foods that my weight crept back up. I guess by adding the ghee I kept my fats up despite eating sugar and carbs and I also felt satisfied so I dunno maybe my calories weren't as high as i thought.

So really try adding some fat to the UP days even of you are eating the carbs, The ratios should work even still, right? or at least that was my crazy experience. Then to be sure, your down days will be easier too, cause you'll still be full from the day before with all the fat.

Hey Fozzie, I haven't make any Konjaku blocks since before the Holidays. I need to get back to that. And I saw this really nice Pork Miso Recipe on Youtube. I haven't figured the calories but it could probably work as a Down Day Soup if lean pork is used, Whaddya think?

I put pork into garbage soup to help hunger on DDs and it's so good I'd even eat it on UDs.

"Garbage Soup" or "Trash Soup" is soup made from all the "trash" in fridge and pantry odds and ends, not enough ofs, eew I don't like thats, thrown all together with grace skill and luck spiced appropiately and served with panache. Different every time (even when you desperately want to repeat a batch) usually very good or at least much better than you would have any right to expect.

I've come up with the perfect combonation of foods for the EFGT WoE if you can stand it.
Pork rinds and Mayo! 6oz. of pork rinds and 7oz. of mayo as a dip (2300 cals 80% 19% 1% FPC). As soon as I run out of DD soup. I'm switching back to EFGT possibly with HCG......gonna start with PRaM for 3 days.

Pork rinds and Cream Cheese is MY go to food. If you like braunsweiger it's even better.

Pork rind, spread a bit of cream cheese then a bit of pate, Bite, Yum, Repeat!

Ok... you all really make me want to Load again! :-) LOL... it's a pork fat thing hey?? :-) I cooked up taters in about 1/2 cup of lard (we butcher our own organic pigs)for my littles tonight... and I have to say pork rinds in cream cheese is one of my favorite fatty low carb treats!

Should have added that I'm really looking forward to JUDDDing with you all after this hcg round. I'm already at a healthy BMI but want to lose another 10 -15 pounds. BUT I'm really tired of the VLCD day after day... JUDDDing sounds like way more fun... even if it does take longer for me to get the rest of the weight off. I'm looking for info on JUDDDing with using the Leptin Rx style... I have seen a couple threads, but if you all know of any juicy threads that tie these two WOE together I'd appreciate the help linking up to them. There is a LOT to read through on this forum!! :-)

Back down to 314. "Just when you get out they pull you back in"

hahaha!! I keep telling you, you can JUDDD with EFGT! In fact you could possibly JUDDD with EFGT on HCG!

Imagine being on HCG, having an Up Day with EFGT Ratios of 65% fat, etc... and on Down Days,...well being down.

Maybe I'm just lucky, but I've had over 1200 the past two days on HCG, with at least 65% fat and I didn't gain, but I lost. Sooooo.......

I plan to do a down day today just to get back into a caloric deficit, but I'm sorta doing an unstructured HCG-EFGT-UDDD round. It's been in my favor 2.65lb since Feb 2nd. (.44lb/day average so far...)

.44 average is good for even HCG alone.....when I was doing HCG with EFGT I was getting .5lb a day or better on around 1200cals a day.

Cool!! I think that I like this plan cause fat free fresh produce is sorta expensive out of season, lean meat is expensive also, and I can eat cheaper fats like animal fats and meats. I can even eat prepared foods so long as it fits the macro-profile. Today I plan to nurse on some Lachoy Beef pepper Oriental to the tune of 240, over shiritaki noodles. 3 servings of 80 Calories each but filling. Supplemented with Fat Free Popcorn, Radish Salad and the Pineapple that's sitting in my frigg ( only half of it ) That will be my down day for about 510Kcal. Tomorrow will be Chili Cheese Dogs with Added MCT Oil and Mushrooms with Ghee to get the fats up( cause I used Lean beef from the freezer) and a Whole milk Kefir Shake with Kiwi and strawberry and added MCT Oil. Am I lovin' it? Maybe....
