Hey Steve,

sorry to hear you are down. In what respects do you feel JUDDD was not working?. It seemed like the last time you posted you were at a really good number so things were starting to come together. We can visit here, or go back to the other hcg thread. My dh is on day 1 of loading today. I am so glad it is him and not me, lol.

I'm doing great. Thanks. I see my surgeon tomorrow for another post op visit. I may have to go back in because I still have too much breast tissue under one arm. On my first post-op visit he said that was a possibility if it didn't go down. He said we would be able to tell in 3-4 months. Well, imo, I can already tell it is not going to go down. I think this is IT. I am very happy with my breast lift/tummy tuck. I've always had so much weight around my middle, and it's really nice to have a flat stomach. Btw, my stats are current . However, I am going to be 140 tomorrow. I can already tell by my evening weight. That's okay, IHOP was worth it. I never aspired to get to 139 anyway!

Exciting news to hear of flat tummies and things being lifted and perky again! Lucky you. So would the last little *extra* breast tissue thing be pretty simple.. a sort of in & out procedure?

You should be all well healed and back to normal by summer, and looking very trim in summer clothing and lightweight fabrics.

Yes, I believe it would be. I think it would be about an hour versus the 6.5 hours of my last surgery! I believe I would be able to go home the same day. I will get all the details tomorrow. I have a trip planned the first weekend in March so it would be after that.

Steve...sorry for the threadjack.

Yeah, I noticed that. That's why i came to find your active thread!
I'm not doing anything right at the moment. haha. I did okay through the holidays but once I got home is when 'poo happened', I actually gained wait after the holidays instead of during! haha. It's easy to eat healthier when other people are doing the cooking and serving and dishwashing.

I guess I should start posting in my own journal as well but since I'm not reducing or even maintaining right now, I think it would me false advertising. I haven't had a down day since new years!!!!

I guess it was the weight bounce that was bothering me also I started at Christmas. I had OK DDs but my UDs were EXTREMLY UP for Xmas and New Years and Wif-ee's birthday. I used to look foward to weighing but now the numbers are always a surprise.
Even if I only weigh after a DD (morning of an UD).

I'm still doing JUDDD my DDs cals are 627 according to calculator. I eat between 250 and 750 cals. UDs limit are between 2800 and 3200. I'm trying to eat up as much as possible to bump my metabolism.

Glad to hear you are still at it! Like you(and most), when I first started, I went a bit crazy(lots of sugary snacks) with my UD's. I finally got it out of my system, lol. Thankfully, this time around, I didn't go through that. This is day 2of loading for dh. When I asked him last evening if there was anything special he wanted for today, his response was "you mean I have to do this again tomorrow", lol. He has mainly loaded with fats, and a few carbs. He was UP this morning on the scale. I think it may have been the whole can of cashew pieces!

I recall you mentioning that line of thinking! I went and bought some MCT oil to try to help with that. Coconut oil alone has MCT so that is often a staple for boosting metabolism. I plan to use it to substitute for oil in oil based condiments, and as added calories to dishes. since it is thermogenic that is supposed to help with metabolism.

MCT & CO are great metabolism boosters for many people. Just be sure to start small and work your way up. The antimicrobial effect = detox which can feel very much like induction flu and keep you on the - ahem - throne for a few days.

also because it also stimulates cells directly in the stomach and intestines it can cause nausea in much less amounts than long chain fats that have to be transported before they cross the digestive lining. 4T is the THERAPEUTIC dose, this can't be taken all at once or you might ralph, and get the runs, this would be spread out over the course of a 16 hour waking day and maybe not even that much at first since many people aren't used to the thermogenic effects and the "hot flashes" from overconsumption can be unconfortable.

Fozzie, How's it going today for you??

Steve, are you no longer weighing daily? If so, I caution you wth this. I know for MYSELF, not weighing allows me to be in denial which has always resulted in a big gain. I know for others, weighing daily can lead to some depression with the ups and downs of JUDDD. How often are you weighing? I am doing a much lower carb JUDDD this time, and my fluctuations are not as extreme. I update my stats daily, if you want to see what I mean. Today is a down day for me so it sounds like we are on the same schedule.

After dh's VLCD1 he is down 3 pounds. I suspect it is more, but, he didn't weigh while loading. I only have his starting weight before loading.

I only weigh the morning of UDs following DDs. Several people on JUDDD say they only weigh once a week. I keep my stats daily on ****** except weight as mentioned. In the begining of my JUDDD journey I weighed every day and it bothered me to see the flucuations. Maybe I should weigh only on DD mornings after an UD as it's supposed to take at least 24 hours for a DD to take effect. I'm trying to move closer to a fasting DD or maybe just noodles and boullion. Right now I do garbage soup with a pork drippings base with noodles in it really good stuff.

I still don't know how I'm doing......I'm still not convinced about JUDDD. It's the toughest program I've tried to date. Alot of how I'm feeling is not related to health or weight loss.
