12 Midnight Tomorrow....Throw Money In The Door BEFORE You Walk In!

I read this on the Playground here and I can't find the link now but it said that to bring good money luck into your house for the New Year you need to throw money into your house at 12 Midnight or afterward BEFORE you walk in the door! Some people leave the money outside and then walk out the door at midnight and throw the money in and walk back inside.

I plan I putting a small bag of money in DF car and when we get back from the club we will throw the money in the door first before we go in!

What the heck, it can't hurt, right?!

Been doing this for a few years. Not sure if it works however figure if I don't my money situation could actually be worse than it currently is.

We did this last night. What fun!!! It was our first time seeing or doing this. I posted this in the original PG thread:

We did this last night and had a bunch of fun while doing it. I put in my money and DH and the kids put in their own. I also put in another bag my skinny jeans (which don't quite fit this season) and some Drops of Skinny. I am determined to not just BE skinny this year but to maintain my weight once I get there. We all left through the back door (even our light haired dog) and DH knocked, opened the door and threw in the bags. Then he was the first one in (he was tallest) while I held the dog, who wanted in so bad because he is terrified of the fireworks.

It is just another day, yes, but we had a ball getting the bag ready and determining what would go in it. My one son even commented maybe we should throw him in first since he is skinny and has the kind of metabolism I want LOL It was so funny!!! Of course DH nixed that idea, so I went with my skinniest jeans I have.
