DD

Traveling today and then eating dinner with relatives tonight so this will no doubt be another MD, probably the start of my last MD-UD-MD-DD rotation of the year -- thank goodness!

Just coffee with a little light cream during the day unless I'm starving so I can attempt to eat normally at dinner.

Well, back from the cruise; it was very nice! The food was excellent, but honestly, I prefer my meats to have fewer sauces - mainly because I KNOW what they put in all those sauces - flour and cornstarch!

So yesterday was supposed to be a DD, but we were getting off the ship and had a long drive home. I just wasn't up to trying to tough it out without anything, so I called it a MD. Honestly, I don't think I gained any weight on the cruise, but then I was pretty strict with myself. I DID have part of a serving of Warm Chocolate Melting Cake, but I always have that on the very last night (so I can't change my mind and have it again the next day! )

This morning, so far, it's only been coffee and almond milk. Probably will do one of those big oat fiber muffins, and not sure what else just yet. Still swaying at my desk from all the motion on the ship!

DD today. I've already had 3T of heavy cream for 150 cals. Gah!

Planning on shiritaki noodles fried up in a smidgen of coconut oil with some angle hair cabbage, and a dressing of soy sauce, white rice vinegar and splenda. And hoping to get to the store to get some fresh cilantro to top it off.

And a big serving of veggie soup.

Probably also a diet swiss miss and a couple of cups of tea with SF coffeemate.

Free day for me. I took the boys to Denny's and ate a ton. I think this will be my only meal of the day. I do have a 9 PM event tonight where I might have 1 drink and nibble on an appetizer.

I ate all this : 2 eggs, bacon, pumpkin pancakes with SF syrup, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. I'm betting 2000+ calories.

Actually just 1565 with my morning coffee! I'll be full all day.

Should have been a DD - but met with old friends for lunch!!

So - no brekky:
S: Small Skinny Capuccino
L: 3/4 of a nice pizza (parma ham, goats cheese etc) - and 2 slices of salami & 1 1/2 slices of parma ham - some cornichons & little olives + 2 Gluhweins
S: Skinny Flat White Coffee

I'm guestimating my day at 1600 eaten within a 4 hour period.

Now I'm basically fasting until tomorrow night - when I say fasting I mean that I'm having broth and one coffee or 2 (so about 300 cals or so). Then back to DD (I hope) on 1st! Last year was a DD too - I was in hospital on the 1st with double pneumonia!!

Okay just took out the first batch. The house smells heavenly. I had a little crumb to taste and thought it was pretty good. DH and DD shared one and give their nods of approval.

Super easy!

I'll post in the DD recipes thread too. The bold is from marniehodges on ************. I have no idea who the OP was because she reposted.

This recipe has been on here before but I thought I'd repost it for those of you who are new or didn't see it Took them to a "Girls Night" party and nobody knew the were "healthy"-they were a huge hit!

Pineapple Angel Food Cupcakes

1 box Duncan Hines Angel Food cake (add water only kind)
1 20 oz. can crushed pineapple in its own juice.

Mix dry cake mix and pineapple together (no water). Fill cupcakes 2/3 full. Place batter in fridge between batches and it bakes better. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 min or golden brown.

Delish and only 69 calories each, fat free! I put the nutritional content in the food data base under "generic pineapple angel food cupcakes". Enjoy!

~Marnie

I couldn't find Duncan Hines so I used Betty Crocker fat free, just add water cake mix and generic crushed pineapple in it's own juice. I got 30 cupcakes and it came out to (per serving) 67 calories, 15 carbs, 0 fat, and 1 protein.

I also saw someone responded they make theirs exactly the same but substitute canned pumpkin for the pineapple.

DD for me

B - 2 pieces bacon and a small plate of veggies with dip (350)
L- Salad with chicken. I used banana peppers to give it flavor since I didn't use much dressing. (250)
D- Broth (not counting)

Total = 600 calories

I'm not gonna lie; today has been a struggle. I've been having massive sweet cravings and they won't go away. I think it might have to do with the fact that I did have that martini with my friend last night. Either way, I've already taken a 5 hour nap and that means I won't be able to fall back asleep for quite a while. I'm *hungry* and majorly depressed

Tomorrow will be better, I hope.
