UD/DD calculator question??

Is it better to put in no exercise in the calculator and go by those numbers? I "usually" run 3x a week usually 3 miles. Or best to put the running in?

Also I am curious what anyone with similar stats to mine uses for their UD and DD (5'3", 120 lbs)?

Yes ...I guess so. I like to stay between 118-120max.

I leave my exercise out because I'm trying to lose. But, in maintenance, I would prob put it in. I'm 5'3" and 146, but I have 20 lbs to lose. My numbers are 500/1700, and I'm losing 1-2 lbs a week. So you can prob up both those numbers a bit at a time and see what is good for your maintenance.:high5:

Thanks, my thought was to start at 600/1600 but maybe based on your #'s that will put my in loss and not maintain :dunno:

I think some JUDDDers have come to the conclusion that the calculator doesn't work for maintenance, because it still gives you a significant calorie deficit:

Since you are at/close to goal, I would put in "light exercise" if you wouldn't mind losing a couple pounds, "moderate exercise" if losing too much weight is a concern.
