It's Friday - what are you eating?

DD for me
B: coffee w/almond milk
D: chicken chili (dd recipe thread)
S: not sure, maybe tuna and salad

SlowSure 12-16-2011 02:30 AM

DD for me.

Breakfast: Konnyaku with garlic and chilli (100 cals)

Lunch: Tomato and charred aubergine soup (100 cals)

Dinner: Provencal vegetables, very small serving of chicken (150 cals).

So, a total of 350 cals which is a little high but I can't substitute a protein powder shake for any of the meals today as I have to be careful to avoid a reaction to it.

wastednuffime 12-16-2011 04:39 AM

DD for me...:aprayer::aprayer::aprayer::aprayer:

veggie soup, Atkins shake, H2o..

handbells 12-16-2011 04:53 AM

DD for me too

Not sure what I'm going to have today. Trying to keep it low. Perhaps some hard boiled egg whites at some point and at another some lc cheese.

dasiey 12-16-2011 05:12 AM

DD for me,

Fasting on liquids
until dinner time.
Lcarb dinner.

Knittering 12-16-2011 06:13 AM

UD

Coffee w/hwc, eggs & ham
Broccoli cheese soup, crackers
Pork chops and roasted broccoli

Going to do some baking of muffins, etc. from the DD recipe thread so I'll sample some of that.

KeirasMom 12-16-2011 06:38 AM

DD

B: Coffee (7)
S: Kamut Puffed Cake w/LC wedge and Serrano Chili (57)
L: Shirataki Pho (48)
D: No idea yet, but I will have plenty of calories left over (388).

Last night I was way under calories, so I had several glasses of wine. I haven't had wine in ages. I'm really starting to love this WOE.

What is this, KM?

It's like a rice cake, but made with Kamut (another grain) instead. It's 22 calories as opposed to 35 for my rice cakes. I'm kind of anal about getting the most bang for my caloric buck. I got them at Whole Foods.

Knittering 12-16-2011 06:46 AM

Thank you!
I need to make the journey into the Cities to visit Whole Foods again soon. :)

sophiethecat 12-16-2011 07:02 AM

DD until evening.

black coffee until early afternoon, and then I'll probably have leftover taco salad, which will hold me until FD eating starts again, between 5 - 7 p.m.

vilanteira 12-16-2011 07:44 AM

DD here.

B: coffee
L: nothing
D: low carb sausage/pepper/onions pizza

Saving all my calories for a good sized dinner, which will come out to 380 total.

kel7298 12-16-2011 07:48 AM

UD but I will most likely watch it during the day to save calories for this fancy smancy party we are attending tonight.

Kissa 12-16-2011 10:36 AM

DD for me, Minestrone Soup for lunch 108 cals.

Cup of tea and a WW lemon slice 80 cals.

Tonight some duck and pancakes. Will be counting carefully. :) I love DDs.

YUM!!!!!

MintQ8 12-16-2011 11:01 AM

DD (yay!!)

B: Poached Egg, Cup of Tea & 2 Berocca (effervescent tablets)
L: 2 x Portobello Mushrooms & Green Leaf Salad (1tbsp of Creamy Salad Dressing)
S: 2 x Skinny Flat White Coffees
D: Shirataki Noodles, Arrabiata Sauce, Lean Ham, Flame Roasted Grilled Peppers

That takes me to 471.

I have a pudding that is 70 cals - I may have it - 540 is not too bad!!!!

Kissa 12-16-2011 12:15 PM

I have eaten half a carton of Minestrone soup and had a WW lemon slice. My supper was stir fried mediterranean vegetables. 321 so far. I may have a duck pancake which is what I gave my DH. One is supposed to be about 106 cals.

Beeb 12-16-2011 12:36 PM

UD and so far a 1 fried egg on a bagel thin, some hot and sour soup, a banana, 1 egg omelet with sausage bits and blue cheese, 2 kit kat minis.

Going out for Mexican tonight and I plan on eating well. Not counting UD cals anymore, but know not to overdo.

JUDDD's wonderful magic that has taught me how to eat until just full will serve me well tonight, I'm sure!:laugh:

Kissa 12-16-2011 12:41 PM

Decided on a piece of duck skin (about 75?) and one piece of my dark chocolate with is well worth 40 cals. So 436, I think we'll call it quits!

Alcestis 12-16-2011 12:59 PM

DD - my second one, and I'm enjoying it! I was uncomfortable with the idea of counting calories again, but I don't have that awful feeling of deprivation that I always had on low-cal diets before, because I'm also planning what I'll be eating on my UD! This WOE is genius :D

B: coffee & 1 tbl HWC (50)
L: 2 boiled eggs (150)
S: grapes (100)
D: shrimp, tomato, feta (great recipe, it's like a thick soup and sooo tasty) (330)

I was aiming for 500 today, but I'm pretty happy with 630.

sophiethecat 12-16-2011 01:03 PM

Just came off a 17 hour fast (had only black coffee), and had taco salad and now full fat yogurt with blackberries & raspberries.

I started my DD last night, but decided to do this liver & gallbladder flush I read about online (will not do again!) so I had about 2,000 calories worth of evoo in about an hour last night.... So I just decided to fast all day today and then go ahead and start FD.

Couldn't agree more!
UD for me: scone and tea for breakfast:D (only JUDDD would allow this!)
soup for lunch; saving rest of my cals for dinner out w/DH and in-laws!

:annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:
Grrr. I was doing great, even managed to skip my Kamut/cheese, then grabbed a diet coke to drink with my Pho . . . I got halfway through my "diet" coke only to realize it was one of those white cans of regular coke! 70 calories wasted.

I'll still stay under 500 for the day, but what a dumb mistake.

Low Carb Librarian 12-16-2011 04:17 PM

DD

Half of a tuna sandwich and a bowl of soup

Knittering 12-16-2011 04:26 PM

Okay, apparently we have a change of plans -- mozzarella sticks instead of pork/roasted broccoli. Not as much nutrition there, but mmmmm I adore mozzarella sticks.

itsmeshelly01 12-16-2011 05:49 PM

DD here

Half cup lowfat yogurt with a quarter cup of pumpkin mixed together, cinnamon, 1t psyllium, liquid sweetener. 85 calories
V8 juice. 70
Snack bag with 1 zucchini, half a cucumber and baby carrots. 95
Can of tuna over spinach, romaine and mushrooms, maple grove farms sf balsamic. 140
Evening snack of sf jello with bulgarian yogurt on top. 40
About 500 for the day. Pretty good. I'm haing to lay off of the low cal muffins for a little while. I'm so bloated and constipated that I'm not losing any weight at all. Its really frustrating me.
