It's Thursday, what are you eating today?

UD for me

B: coffee w/almond milk and coconut oil; maybe some smoked salmon w/cream cheese
D: small steak, green beans, salad
S: hot wings or tuna salad, not sure which yet

handbells 12-15-2011 04:56 AM

UD here

B-slice of whole grain bread with a tsp of butter
L-holiday luncheon at work. I think it's going to be some kind of chicken.
Supper-some kind of pork chop dish. Looking up recipes now. lol

SlowSure 12-15-2011 04:57 AM

UD for me.

Breakfast was oatmeal pancake (oatmeal, cottage cheese, egg, cardamom) with a little sour cherry preserve (approx. 220 cals).

Lunch is 3 crab sticks, a little tuna, cornichons, olives with Finn Crisps (approx. 200 cals).

Dinner will be chicken with provencal vegetables (tomato, aubergine, red pepper, red onions) (approx. 450 cals).

The above leaves me some spare calories to have a little soup or a protein fluff pudding if I should be hungry this evening.

dasiey 12-15-2011 05:28 AM

ud

I know I will go over my ud calories today. I have
2 holiday meals today. frist is a lunch with a client
and the second is company. i will try to be good.
I promise.

KeirasMom 12-15-2011 05:30 AM

UD for me.

I don't have a plan, other than to enjoy it. Last UD was hard to get to my calories, so I think I'll just eat what I want and add it up as I go and figure out where I end up.

Kissa 12-15-2011 06:16 AM

UD here, been cooking all morning so don't feel hungry! Nibbled at a few stale popcorn and a had a coffee so far.

kel7298 12-15-2011 06:48 AM

Knittering 12-15-2011 07:03 AM

DD

Coffee with h&h
Stir-fried cabbage with laughing cow and 2oz chicken
Homestyles chili with extra tomatoes and peppers

Snacks: glac pudding and broth

Hopefully I can stick with this today, I hardly got any sleep last night and am so tired.

Is the Homestyles Chili good? I just placed an order, so it will be a couple of weeks before my next one, but I'm curious. Thanks!

Mommie22boys 12-15-2011 09:01 AM

DD today...

B: coffee w/ SF creamer (like every other DD, lol) (49)
L: vegetarian veggie broth (15)
S: (maybe, if I feel snacky) peppermint mocha cocoa (30)
D: cabbage/bacon/cheese stir-fry...a big 'ole bowl, topped w/ sour cream (258)

That's 352, if I have the cocoa. I'll likely have something else to eat after work, but we'll see.

betty301 12-15-2011 09:36 AM

^vegetarian veggie broth??? I'm intrigued!

DD here-

grilled chicken
romaine

Yes, it's really good and filling for 250 calories! I like to add 1/2c. petite diced tomatoes and 1T jalapenos and hot sauce (because I like my chili hot.) If I have extra calories I add 1/2T cream cheese and that's awesome, too.

Low Carb Librarian 12-15-2011 10:26 AM

UD

Oatmeal w/cranberries
Coffee with coffee mate

Tuna sandwich
Apple
Popchips

lol sounds like my kind of morning :)

Dottie 12-15-2011 11:36 AM

I ended up eating a little steak for breakfast then had hot wings and onion rings (not heavily battered, this pizza place uses a very light batter with parmesan cheese in it) and 1 small piece (about a 1" wide strip) of cheesy bread for lunch instead.

piratejenny 12-15-2011 12:09 PM

B: piece of kielbasa, coffee & cream
L: avocado, masagi, crab & spicy mayo with "nori snacks" and a sesame pancake.
OMG, really good! just wish I had some unagi!

D: (DD) zucchini & broth, maybe some ham & a cheese stick.

Knorr makes vegetarian vegetable bouillion cubes...they come in a box of 6. Little yellow and green boxes. I use 1/2 a cube to a big mug of hot water for 15 calories, and that's my lunch on DDs. So, a whole box will last me 12 DDs...more than 3 weeks! They also make a chicken and a beef bouillion, but I like the veggie the best.

vilanteira 12-15-2011 12:32 PM

UD for me.

B: coffee, 2 soft boiled eggs
L: small piece of slow cooked untrimmed pork shoulder, 1/4 avocado, 1 meatball, small slice of kielbasa, small portion of grilled squash/zucchini/cauliflower/brussel sprouts
D: we're ordering out sushi (yellowtail scallion, spicy tuna, salmon skin)
S: Blue Diamond salt and vinegar almonds

Estimating as best as I can for the sushi using the separate ingredients, so anywhere from 1600-1800 total.

sophiethecat 12-15-2011 01:16 PM

homemade taco salad leftover from last night
black coffee
full fat plain yogurt with blackberries & raspberries

DD eating later this evening, and I'm going to do a liver/gallbladder flush, first time. It's the olive oil/lemon juice remedy that's common on the 'net. Wish me luck, lol, I'll probably need it.

Kissa 12-15-2011 02:27 PM

A tuna mozzarella panini at around 3pm.

Dinner with DH at our favourite Italian restaurant. Calamari, creamy veal pasta, my half of a bottle of red wine. Home to an espresso and a sambucca.

Xmas Zumba and a DD to look forward to tomorrow. I am so happy with this way of living. :)

janetsbreeze 12-15-2011 02:33 PM

Today was supposed to be an UD, but yesterday's DD turned into a MD so today is another DD! (I love that you all will understand that sentence!)

Stopped at tuna sandwich on this list... Got a horrible migraine and had to come home from work... Still feel horrible so not much food for this UD

Alcestis 12-15-2011 05:20 PM

My second UD:

B: coffee w/ 1tbl HWC, oatmeal w/ 1tbl HWC (250cals)
L: slice of LC quiche (300)
S: clementine (35)
D: LC pizza (1700)

My UD calories are 2230 according to the JUDDD calculator, but I gotta say, I'm fullll. I overate the LC pizza (homemade from a recipe on LCF) but it feels good to just pay attention to how my body feels and be aware that I could have had half of the pizza and still been completely satisfied. And I'm kinda looking forward to my DD tomorrow now. Lesson for next UD: I only have to eat to satisfaction....

Ah well, livin' and learnin'.

Okay, I just recalculated based on no exercise (to be conservative) and my UD came out at 1946. I think I'll stick to that, and 500 DD, and see how that works...

Beeb 12-15-2011 05:20 PM
